ICEX Mock Trading Connectivity Procedure – ANNEXURE 1

Overview

For Mock participants ICEX is providing the safe mode of connectivity using IPsec VPN which uses authentication and encryption for communication. A VPN created to add security and privacy to private and public networks, to protect sensitive data.

This procedure is describing the steps to be followed for accessing FTP folder securely thru Cisco IP sec VPN.

Note * For VPN Installation on Windows 8 & 10 for 64 bit only

Member Secure VPN Connection

1) Download “Dneupdate64.exe” & “vpnclient_setup.exe” from icexindia.com website.

2) First Run the Dneupdate64.exe setup.3) And accept the License Agreement.

4) Click the Finish to complete the setup.

5) Now run the vpnclient_setup .exe (Type :-Windows Installer) As shown in below screen shot

6) VPN Setup wizard will appear, Click on Next

7) Accept License agreement & Click on Next

8) Select The installation location and Click on Next

9) Click On Next

10) Installation process will start

11) Now Click on Finish button to complete the installation process.

12) Now on windows start you can see the VPN Client application installed successfully.13) Then Click on VPN Client Icon

14) Then Clieck On New

15) Fill the bellow information and In group Authentication Password column use:- !ceX@123

16) Click on save button.17) Now you can see the “ICEX_PROD” connection entry on below window.18) Double click on “ICEX_PROD”.19) Enter the member “Username & Password” and then click ok.

20) Now you are connected with ICEX secure VPN

21) If you receive error while connecting with ICEX_PROD with error code “Reason 412”, Then please do the below given steps .

1. Open regedit2. Browse to the registry key HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CVirtA3. 6) Remove value data from start to “CVirtA_Desc%” Content. And Keep only “Cisco System VPN Adapter For 64-bit or 86-Bit Windows”

22) After performing the above steps please try again to login in to VPN using 17 to 19 steps.
