ICSE Board Geography Syllabus
In ICSE Board, students will find the separate paper for Geography subject. The ICSE Board Syllabus for Geography of class 9th and class 12th consists of two parts and one internal assessment. Part 1 and Part 2 is a theoretical paper, the duration of which is 2 hours and the total weightage is 80 marks. Internal Assessment consists of 20 marks. In ICSE Geography Syllabus Part 1 consists of Compulsory tow questions. Question 1 will consists of short type questions and question 2 consists of a question based on maps. In part 2 of ICSE Geography Syllabus, candidates need to choose any 5 question in which candidate is needed to use of sketches, diagrams, graphs and charts in their answers. It includes the topics like Structure of the Earth and Internal Processes, composition and structure of Atmosphere, Weathering, Types of pollution, Natural regions of the World etc

PAPER I: THEORY (70 Marks)
There will be one Theory paper of three hours duration divided into two parts - Part I (30 marks) will be compulsory and will consist of Section A and Section B.Section A will include compulsory short answer testing knowledge, application and skillsrelated to elementary/fundamental aspects of the entire syllabus. Section B will consist of one question on mapwork.
Part II (40 marks) will consist of seven questions. Candidates will be required to answer four out of seven questions. Each question in this part shall carry 10 marks.
