Account:It is the process of keeping track of a user's activity while accessing a network resourcesprotected by username and password.
Algorithm:An Algorithm is a logical procedure for solving problems. It is the first step in preparing computerprograms.
1
ALU:The Arithmetic Logic Unit is the part of the processor where the system processes thelogical and the arithmetical Operations.
BUS:The bus is a communication channel that allows peripheral components of an electronic systemto "talk" to each other by exchanging information or data.
Cache:The cache memory is a temporary, highspeed type of memory located in the CPU which datacan be quickly stored and retrieved on demand. Usually, the most frequent used data is stored inthe cache.
2
COMPUTER SPEAKERS:Computer speakers are essential for PCs. While the external speakers are connected to the PC,the lower fidelity builtin speakers are disabled.
CPU:It is the hardware within a computer that carries out the instructions of a computer program byperforming the basic arithmetical, logical, and I/O operation of the system.
CU:The Control Unit is a part of CPU that coordinates the connections and the communicationsbetween input/output Devices and control all the Operations of the machine.
3
DISPATCHER:It is the module that gives control of the CPU to the process selected by the shortterm scheduler.
Embedded System:It is a specialpurpose system in which the computer is encapsulated by the device it controls.
Host:This is a computer that acts as a server for other computers on a network. It can be a webserver, and email server, an FTP server, etc.
4
iPhone:The iPhone is a line of internet and multimediaenabled smartphones, the first ever made, marked by Apple.

Link:In hypertext systems, such as the World Wide Web, a link is a reference to another document.Such links are sometimes called hot links because they take you to other documents when youclick on them.
Mouse:It's an input device that captures the movement of the hand and transforms it into an electricimpulse that the computer decodes to move the cursor on the screen. There are mainly twotypes of mice: A mechanical mouse has a wheel on the underside whereas an optical mousehas a lightemittingdiode and photodiodes which detect the movement relative to the surfaceunder the mouse.
Monitor:It's an output device that provides a graphical interface between the computer and its user.Monitors can be connected to the computer via VGA, DVI or HDMI cable. Specifically, monitorsare connected to the computer’s video card where the output data is generated.
6
Operative system
Group of programs that permit the comunication between user and the machine
Memory unit
Device that si used for storing data and instructions for processing.
Plotter:The plotter is a computer printer for printing vector graphics. A plotter gives a hard copy of theoutput. It draws pictures on paper using a pen. Plotters are used to print designs of ships andmachines, plans for buildings and so on.
7
RAM:The Random Access Memory is the main memory of the computer. It increases exponentiallythe performance of the system. A randomaccess device allows stored data to be accesseddirectly in any random order.
ROM:Readonly memory is type of computer memory in which data has been prewritten. Once datahas been written into a ROM chip, it cannot be modified and it can only be read.
8
SMARTPHONE:It is a mobile phone built on a mobile operating system, with more advanced computingcapability and connectivity than a feature phone. (Gabriele’s group)
