Biography
Rey was born in Manila, Philippines, and relocated to Guam, a United States Territory, when he was
43'2 years old. He was educated in Guam from elementary to college.
While in high School he received two impressive nation-wide recognition awards: Who's Who
Among American High School Students (1979-1980L and the Society of Distinguished American
Students (1979-1980). As a coilege student at the University of Guam, he received nation-wide
recognition for his academic and civic achievements in Who's Who Among Students in American
Universities and Colleges, successively (1982 to 1983 and 1983 to 1984}.
In 1984, Rey graduated from the University of Guam (deans list) and received a commission as
Second Lieutenant, United States Army, through the Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) program
and was assigned to the elite 529th Military Police Company (Honor Guard}. It was during this
assignment that Rey once again received national recognition for his outstanding
through the Outstanding Young Men of America Award (1987) and subsequent recognition later in
his military career by the International Who's Who of Professionals {1996).
From 1996-1999, Rey worked as a civilian Programs Administrator with the U.S. Navy Fleet and
Family Service Center in Guam. After only three years, Rey once again earned special recognition for
his "outstanding" accomplishments; a prestigious U.S. Navy civilian medal-the U.S. Navy
Meritorious Civilian Service Award~the third highest national award that can be given to a US Navy
federal civilian employee "for outstanding performance"! This award to than

In 2012, Rey, while still working with Chugach, opened the first RE/MAX in the Philippines,
and is partnered and accredited with over 30 of the largest Developers and several
banks in the country.
In 2013, Chugach Alaska Corporation-Guam was recognized as "one of the best companies to work
for" by Guam Business Magazine.
Although extremely busy, Rey finds the time to give back to the community through volunteer
service. He currently holds the title as Economic Adviser to the Governor of Guam; Employer
Outreach Director and Boss Lift Coordinator for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve
(ESGR); Chairman of the Guam Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) board; and member of several civic
organizations such as the Guam Chamber of Commerce.
In 2015, Rey was nominated for the prestigious Guam Business Magazine "Executive of the Year"
award for "success and reputation in the business community; business creativity and
entrepreneurship; leadership ability; business expansion; and community involvement".
Also in this time in the Philippines, Rey and his company, RE/MAX Asyenda Realty, was
awarded the Golden Globe Award for Business Excellence for the "Best Real Estate Brokerage Firm
Service Provider".
In 2016, Rey was given a first-time award for his "Excellence in Real Estate" by
