Applications of Dimdim• DimDim is an extensive online meeting service that

offers many versions of their program for varying purposes, even a version specifically designed for use by educators.

• Many education facilities including Ohio State University and University of Pennsylvania have already integrated Dimdim into their cross-campus communication platforms so that students and faculty can collaborate in real-time about any topic; continue their classroom experiences with other students online; enable distance learning to remote students or simply enable virtual meeting rooms for live discussions during faculty office hours.

Applications of Dropbox• Dropbox is the easiest way to store, sync, and, share files

online. There's no complicated interface to learn.

• Dropbox can be an excellent tool in the classroom. Dropbox allows files to be easily shared between students and teachers.

• A collaborative Dropbox could be an effective tool in group projects, for students to easily submit files to the teacher for grading, and for teachers to share files, such as notes and demonstration files with students.

• The student projects are getting larger in size, and may present a problem when attaching to an email message.

Applications of Dropbox• The Drop Box feature allows instructors and students to

share documents within a private folder for each student. The Drop Box works like Resources to allow you to upload many types of files and many files at a time. The Drop Box also allows nested folders (folders within folder).

• Teacher can also include a Handouts Folder for providing assignments or documents that students can "pick up."

• It can also be helpful for collaboration - teachers or students working on the same project can use Dropbox to share their relevant files.

students can share files with their teacher just by copying them into his / her folder.

WordPress• A semantic personal publishing platform with a focus on

aesthetics, web standards, and usability.

• School teachers these days are bombarded with memos, news letters, and many other forms of information. It is a difficult task sometimes to keep up with all of them, keep them together, and remember everything. If a teacher misses some time from school for any reason, it is even harder for them to know what is happening, but it is essential to keep updated.

WordPress• Returning to school without knowing important

information can cause confusion and misunderstanding. Also, substitute teachers that are generally working with the same schools need a way to stay informed. It is just as necessary for them as well because it can ruin their credibility if they show up for work unprepared. (School Blog helps to manage this)

• Teachers can submit project proposals for materials or experiences their students need to learn and succeed.

• As teachers, having a blog will boost your reputation and accessibility no end.

WordPress• For your posts, they can be on anything. A joke or some

material that you think will help your students in their quest to master subject. It could be some tips on subject or a new website that you enjoy. It could just be something about your plans…

• Encourage your students to visit and leave comments. Get a discussion going and when they comment, make sure you remark back, thanking them for commenting. Make the blog as interactive as possible and ask them to let you know what they like and what they want more of.

or just little quotes, the more your students will keep it in mind as a place that offers value. They’ll refer their friends to it.

• On the one hand, GeoGebra is a dynamic geometry system. You can do constructions with points, vectors, segments, lines, conic sections, as well as functions, and change them dynamically afterwards.
