2009 was a challenging year for all of us. The US economy slowed significantly, unemployment rose to nearly 10%, and business costs continued to escalate. Despite all this, IDC is continuing its commitment to our customers to provide them with quality products, reasonable prices, and unparalleled service.

This year we are pleased to announce a new focus product catalog. The catalog will showcase the variety of items sold by IDC and will compliment our website as another resource for our customers to learn more about IDC and the quality products we represent. In 2010, we have launched the IDC rewards program with the support of our largest vendor Johns Manville. E x t r u d e d P o l y s t y r e n e Owens Corning FOAMULAR is an extruded polystyrene rigid foam insulation offering exceptionally long lasting R-value; superb water/moisture resistance properties; and a range of compressive strengths to meet the application needs of the architect, contractor, builder and owner. It’s also virtually impervious to moisture, preventing loss of R-value due to moisture penetration. Plus, the product's built-in rigidity means it can be scored and snapped, cut, or sawed with common tools. Sagging and settling are never a problem.

Mineral Wool Acoustical Fire Batt ROXUL AFB (Acoustical Fire Batt) is a batt insulation product designed specifically for application in wall/floor systems where acoustical performance and fire resistance are the primary concerns. Roxul mineral wool fiber products are made from natural basalt rock and slag (a by-product of steel manufacturing). This combination results in a non-combustible product with a melting point of approximately 2150°F (1177°C), which means it has excellent fire resistance.
