DOMINANCE OF THE DIGITAL ENTERPRISE 1.0 – SUB THEMES

8

Dominance through Design to Disrupt Dominance through the Digital Fabric Reaping the Digital Dividend

The business impact of digital transformation is a ground shifting

impact to industries. Design to disrupt is not just affording digital

opportunities for customer experiences or value; but altering

business fundamentals such as “Car as a Service”

The increasing velocity of technology evolution coupled with the

growing number of connected people, products and services,

signals business leaders - to not only be part of these shifts but

start creating them. Business & IT leaders should be prepared to

build muscle to start disrupting.

Only a handful of digital leaders have acquired a disruptive

advantage. Managing disruption with exponential change

requires a different enterprise technology fabric – a fabric which

demands enabling agility and architectural elasticity and

providing a foundation to successful digital transformation.

From core infrastructure to networks, data, intelligence and

security, real dominance will stem from orchestrating continuum

with true digital platforms of today and tomorrow.

Industry leaders are now dependent on digital technologies and

increasingly investing in digital transformation acceleration.

Over the last two years any percentage revenue growth dependent

on digital has more than tripled.

It is crucial that enterprises now start measuring business value @

Digital Dividend. Whether old or new i.e. measuring revenue

through digital products. An important factor is positive impact to

the enterprise at digital velocity.
