Welcome to the IDT North American Carrier Connection
newsletter.
In this newsletter, you’ll find several articles about IDT
Beyond. IDT Beyond is one of the ways we are innovating
in the areas that mean the most to our customers so we
can continue to uncover opportunities and grow with them.
That approach has helped IDT Telecom achieve another
year of impressive growth. Not only have we grown our
international minutes again by double-digits, our sales
of International Mobile Top Ups (IMTU) continue to break
records.

AND Group with IDT - Keeping Crews Connected

Allowing on board ships’ crews to make phone calls is a difficult telephony challenge. Marine satellite communications experts, AND Group, and IDT have joined together to provide an ideal solution: the new Amigo Crew Calling Card.
Launched in January 2012,
the Amigo Crew Calling
service is a perfect way
for crew to stay in touch
while at sea and is already
generating thousands of
calls every month.
IDT is one of the world’s
largest international
carriers, so calls are always
of high quality and value.
Managing the virtual
calling cards through
the IDT Beyond platform
means Amigo cards are
easy to use, have flexible
denominations, and carry no
credit risk.
IDT Telecom’s latest annual results showed that in the year to July 2012, IDT terminated 30.8 billion minutes – an annual increase of over 17%.
Revenue also saw double
digit growth and is $1.5bn
per year. Growth in Boss
Revolution pin-less calling
more than offset declines in
traditional disposable calling
cards. Payment services
revenue grew by almost
30%, driven by increases
in International Mobile Top
Ups (IMTU).
Howard Jonas, IDT’s
Chairman and CEO, said,
“We intend to build on this
success while investing in
several long term growth
initiatives. We will add
to our portfolio of retail
products, [and] enhance
our retail presence in
underserved immigrant
communities.” For more
