Simply put, Dougie's Music is a select collection of professional London musicians all of which are highly experienced in providing first class entertainment for weddings, corporate functions, parties and receptions. As an organisation, we have been providing entertainment to the weddings and function industry since 2008, and in this time have gained a reputation for being uncompromising in the service we offer and the quality of the music we provide. All of the musicians on our books are graduates of the four london music conservatoires and have performed for the likes of Maverick Sabre, Adele, Aruba Red, Natalie Williams, Shlomo, Ray Davies (Kinks), Russell Watson, Jiggs Wigham, Buddy Greco plus many more, and have performed at venues all over the world including The Ritz, Ronnie Scotts, All England Lawn Tennis Club (Centre Court, Wimbledon), BBC and ITV television studios & Grosvenor House to name but a few. We cater for: Weddings… Ceremony - how about having a special song performed at your marriage ceremony? Reception/Wedding Breakfast - background jazz bands available to add a touch of ambience to your reception. Evening Celebrations/Party - we’ve got a great range of party bands on offer to kick the evening celebrations into action! Corporate Functions… Often the primary focus is to entertain clients and employees. This may be done subtly with a cocktail reception or dinner or flamboyantly with a party. The Jazz Bopsters are a hugely flexible group of first-rate jazz musicians that are highly experienced in providing musical entertainment for almost any event or occasion. With every member on the books having been properly trained at one of the London music conservetoires, you are guaranteed a memorable performance that will leave your guests wowed and wanting to hear more. The London City Big Band is a hugely popular full size big band made up of some of the finest young musicians on the London scene. Playing classics made famous by the likes of Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald coupled with hard swinging hits from greats such as Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman, the London City Big Band are the ultimate band for any swing music enthusiast. As standard, our performance package guarantees:
