A SORT OF LATIN GENGHIS KHANIn a today’s world, you need a global vision and adaptability. I was born and

raised in Mexico until I left my home when I was 16 and spent 12 years

working, studying but above all, living abroad in places like Montreal, Paris,

Barcelona, Tel Aviv, Helsinki, San Juan and Santo Domingo. I learned a

great many deal of things from different cultures and made them my own.

That includes dancing salsa and bachata. Let’s spice things up.

THE TALENTED MR. VILLASEÑORThroughout my travels, I’ve worked as a cowboy, coal miner, pharmaceutical

salesmen, painter, high school teacher, supermarket merchandiser and

government policy advisor, just to name a few. My greatest learnings from

Q: DO YOU CUSTOMIZE EACH TALK?

A: Most of the content in my talks contain consistent material that has been well-received by the

audiences. However, no two talks are alike. Each talk is customized to meet the specific needs of the

audience and event organizers.

Q: HOW LONG ARE YOUR TALKS?

A: The typical duration ranges between 20 to 60 minutes, including some time for Q&A at the end.

However, I can accommodate shorter TED-style talks of about 10 minutes that are punchy, concise, and

powerful. I also have experience participating in interactive workshops as a moderator, facilitating the

discussion between the participants

Q: HOW LONG DO YOU STICK AROUND?

A: I like to be present both before and after the talk, so as to interact with the audience and fellow

speakers. This enriches the experience for everybody and lets you build stronger connections with the

people you meet. You never know what might come out of a conversation while having coffee.

Q: HOW MANY TALKS DO YOU GIVE EACH YEAR?

A: I am involved in a few ventures, work independently doing consulting for clients, teach marketing and

am constantly taking courses to stay up-to-date with the latest industry and business trends. Therefore, I

typically limit myself to 20 -25 events per year. This way I can focus on only those in which I am most

passionate about and will be able to deliver the greatest value to the audience. So, I recommend

contacting me at least one month in anticipation.

Q: WHAT’S YOUR DELIVERY STYLE?

A: I’m not your typical speaker. I like my presentations to be highly visual (you will likely never see more

than a few lines of text on my slides). I abhor presentations stuffed with bullet point lists. Instead, I follow a

Storytelling approach to engage the audience in a journey and capture their attention from beginning to

end. I strive to strike a balance between being educational, inspirational, actionable and humorous.

Q: HOW FAR WILL YOU TRAVEL?

A: I’m located near Monterrey, Mexico, but I love travelling, so I will pretty much go anywhere in the world

provided my travel and accommodation expenses are taken care of by the event organizers (business

class for international flights, economy within Mexico and the US).

Q: ARE YOU RIGHT FOR MY AUDIENCE?

A: If you’re reading this, odds are it’s because you were referred to me, saw me speak before or
