OPTIONAL TOUR ON DAY 3 OF YOUR JOURNEY
Instead of departing mid-day for an afternoon flight to lguazu, depart early in the
morning and spend the afternoon exploring the Brazilian side of the falls. This 5-hour
tour will allow you to experience lguazu Falls from a new perspective. We will take an
elevator down to the base of the waterfalls and stop right above the river level, then go
up to the Saito Floreano viewpoint. Afterwards, from a 1,000-yard footbridge, you will be
able to admire a panoramic view of majestic lguazu Falls. Upon conclusion of the tour, we
will head back to the hotel where you will rejoin the Enrichment Journeys group.

What will I see from Brazil that I can't see from Argentina?
80% of the waterfalls are on the Argentinian side. Therefore, visiting the Argentinian side
offers more opportunities to get up close to the waterfalls, while the Brazilian side offers
more panoramic views of the entire falls landscape. Visiting both sides of the falls is not
mandatory, but you can make the most of your trip by viewing from both perspectives.
Do I need a Brazil visa?
Starting June 17, 2019, U.S. and Canadian citizens will no longer need a visa to visit
Brazil. Citizens of other countries should verify visa requirements with their local Brazilian
consulate.
