The conference is organized by the Italian Antitrust Association, with the support of the Roman Bar Association and in cooperation with the Italian Association of Company Lawyers (AIGI), the press agency MLEX and the magazine Legalcommunity.
The conference, that the Association organises every two years, has become one of the major events in Italy in the fi eld of competition law and is targeted both at Italian and International audience. A number of prominent experts of EU and Italian competition law will be taking part to the event. Among the speakers who have confi rmed their presence, we can count several offi cials of the ICA and of the DG Comp of the European Commission, as well as a number of well known lawyers and academics active in the area of EU and Italian competition law.
The conference will address the topics from a practical perspective in order to enable the audience (lawyers, in-house counsels, economists, academics, public offi cials) to benefi t from the event in terms of training and updating.
It will be held over two days and will cover the following topics: I) main developments in EU competition law; II) main developments in Italian competition law; III) latest developments in public antitrust enforcement, IV) latest developments in private antitrust enforcement.
In addition to the above, specifi c sessions will be organized dealing with the telecommunication and the pharmaceutical sector as well as with the minority holdings topic.
