Shadow the CEO: A unique and meaningful way for IIMB
alumni and EPGP students to connect, for one full day, with
alumni mentors who are willing to provide advice about

Diversity: The composion of the EPGP batch ensures a
diverse cohort of parcipants with wide-ranging skills,
backgrounds, exposures and experiences. Learning
through peer group exchange and knowledge sharing is
one of the most powerful aspects of the program.
Internatonal Immersion: The EPGP was designed with a
focus on emerging markets at its core, highlighted by an
internaonal immersion module which includes an
experienal two-week study tour to an emergingeconomy such as Brazil, South Africa or China, or a
recently developed one such as Singapore or South
Korea, in partnership with a leading business school in
the host country. The intensive analysis, cultural
interacon and classroom discussion during the module
enable students to broaden their understanding of an
increasingly globalized business environment.
The Bangalore Advantage: One of Asia’s
fastest growing cies, Bangalore regularly tops
the list of the best places to live in India. As
home to more than 250 high-tech companies
including IT giants such as Infosys and Wipro,
Bangalore is known as the IT capital of India.
The city is a key driver of India’s economic

Valley. In addion to IT, Bangalore has a widemix of industries, including bio-tech and
avionics, garment and silk manufacturing,

CoursesThe academic year is divided into five
terms: two terms devoted to core
courses, one term for the Internaonal
Immersion module, and two terms
primarily for elecves.
The EPGP provides students with the
same solid foundaon in key management
concepts and disciplines as a two year
MBA, with similar rigor, range of elecves,
and grading criteria
Core courses are compulsory for all EPGP parcipants and
concentrate on the range of knowledge and skills required
of all successful senior managers.
On compleon of the core courses, EPGP parcipants have
the choice of a broad range of elecves to align with their
career objecves and personal interests. In addion to
elecves designed specifically for the EPGP, they also have
access to designated elecves from other IIMB programs,
including the two-year MBA.
EPGP parcipants also have the opon of undertaking a
Comprehensive Project or an Independent Study project to
apply learning from the program to a real management
problem or an emerging business opportunity.

Career supportIIMB provides placement assistance to all students of EPGP. The
Career Development Services Office (CDS) works closely with the
EPGP Student Placement Commiee on the campus recruitment
process.
CDS and the student placement commiee work together to reachout to recruiters and invite them to parcipate in the placement
process. CDS supports and facilitates the campus placement
interviews in accordance with the placement policy.
Students have access to various career support acvies which help
them improve their skills as well as make beer career decisions,
including:
•Resume workshop
•Interview skills workshop
•Career mapping and counselling sessions
Placements for EPGP graduates have been improving every year. Most
of the students have achieved significant career enhancement, moving
into jobs in new func
ons and sectors with a substan
al jump inposion, remuneraon and level of responsibility.
The number of companies recruing from EPGP has grown every year.
They represent a wide diversity of industries and sectors with more
