•Feb 2005iiNet is the first ISP in Australia to offer up to 8000 kbps to customers

•June 2005iiNet launched ADSL2 with speeds of up to 12000 kbps

•December 2005iiNet flipped the switch to provide ADSL2+ speeds of up to 24000 kbps

•November 2006Telstra launch ADSL2+ with speeds of up to 24000 only to Bigpond customers, and only where a competitor is offering ADSL2+ already

•November 2007Launches Naked DSL, removing the need to have a phone service to use your broadband

Terminology : LSS vs SSS ?• LSS (Line Spectrum Sharing ) is the process used to

provide broadband services on our own hardware while still making use of Telstra’s Voice Network

• SSS (Spectrum Sharing Service) is the product we acquire on each customers line that allows us to do it.
