HOPE CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS

Piper De Kam, daughter of Matt & Cacey De Kam, was able to come home on Saturday January 27. We pray for continued healing and strength for Piper and Cacey.

We give thanks for the birth of Jemma Jean De Jong, daughter of Sarah & Todd De Jong, and grand-daughter of Dave & Diana Kooima. Jemma was born with a significant heart condition that required surgery immediately after birth. She is doing well, but her condition remains very serious. Pray for health and continued healing for Jemma and Sarah.

We pray for many others who continue to recover from recent surgeries, illnesses, or treatments. We pray for peace, patience, and endurance.

We remember our members reside in care facilities: Marv Boon at the Prairie Ridge Care Center in Orange City, and Evelyn Dykstra in Byron Center Manor in Byron Center, MI. We also pray for their families as they support them.

FIRST CRC FAMILY PRAISE AND PRAYER CONCERNS

We extend our Christian sympathy to Noah & Susan De Yager and family in the passing of their grandmother, Minnie De Yager of Inwood on Sunday, January 28. Funeral services were held on Friday.

Audrey Jongetjes spent a few days in the Sioux Center Hospital due to shortness of breath. She was able to return to Pleasant Acres but is now on oxygen. Continue to keep Audrey in your prayers.

Destiny Vande Weerd, infant daughter of Jesse and Amber was released from Avera-Mckennan Hospital on Monday and is doing well. Thank God for answered prayers.

Continue to keep Darlene Kroese in your prayers. She has two surgeries related to gallbladder issues and is now recuperating at the Sioux Center Hospital. Pray for healing.

Bob Soodsma had successful hip replacement surgery on Tuesday ay the VA hospital in Sioux Falls. Pray for continued healing.

Skyler Bonestroo had successful shoulder surgery on Wednesday at Dakota Dunes. He returned home the same day. Pray for relief from pain and healing.

Continue to remember others who have had surgery, illnesses, and treatments. Pray for continued healing and health.

Pray for our shut ins: Sally De Groot, Audrey Jongetjes, Florence Kroese, and Melvin Van Otterloo at Pleasant Acres; Joyce De Vries, Verne Huisman, Julianne Kats, Anthony Smit, and Goldie Veldman at Aspen Heights; Esther Rozeboom in her son’s home, Wilma Altena at the Good Samaritan Society in George, and Ardelle Westra in Sioux City.

THANK YOU

We really appreciate the many cards and verbal expressions of sympathy many of you have showered upon us. The deaths of my eldest brother Willis and my eldest sister Clara did not come as a surprise, but more like a relief, knowing that their suffering had ended and now they are truly enjoying life hereafter free from all the aches and pains and troubles that life here on earth entails. We really appreciate the fact that our care group donated 20 Gideon Bibles in Willis’ and Clara’s memory. Pray that the recipients of those Bibles will come to a saving faith as a result.

Thank you very much, fellow Hope CRC members! John & Sherry Kooiker
