There is no need to staycooped up this winter with6,000 square feet of trampo-

lines available to jump on in IdahoFalls at the local trampoline parkcalled iJump.

The park has been around forabout a year and a half and wasthe brainchild of Jake and NatalieLundquist, a husband and wifewho recently moved to Montreal,Canada to start up a second iJump

location called iSaute (French foriJump).

Since this is Idaho Falls, and itis a very cold area in the winter, itsgreat for people to have somethingfun to do indoors, said BrandonLarson, iJump General Manager.

Larson said the park is made upof 23 enormous trampolines, whichinclude a full size dodge ball courtas well as foam pits to jump or doflips into.

ough the park is the perfectplace for more extreme jumpers whoenjoy doing flips and tricks, it is alsoa family friendly environment.

Every Monday iJump has a familynight with a special price of $30 forimmediate family. In addition, aspecial area is dedicated to childrenshorter than 48 inches so they canhave a safe place to jump. That sec-tion is always open during businesshours.

For the smaller children thereis also a special time of the weekcalled Wee-Jump that occursevery Thursday morning wherethe whole park is open to chil-dren under 48 inches. After theiradmission, their parents can jump

for free to oversee the safety oftheir children.

Attendees of the park are requiredto fill out insurance waivers. Em-ployees also explain the rules toeveryone before they enter the park.

Whenever somebody gets hurtit is usually because they arent fol-lowing the rules, explained Larson.

For jumpers who want to practiceskateboarding or snowboardingtricks, jump boards are available forrent. That way, boarders can testout their moves before they hit theslopes.

Also available for rent are party

rooms that can be used for birth-days, work parties and other gather-ings. Food and drinks are optionalto purchase. Besides that, the entirefacility can be rented out for specialevents.

As Black Friday approaches, lookout for iJumps half-price deal. OnNov. 29 the park will be giving away100 half-price coupons throughHalf Price Deals and local radiostations.

Normally, the price is $10 forthose over 48 inches to get into thepark for the first hour and $6 for

every hour after that. For childrenunder 48 inches, the cost is $6 perhour of jumping.

Larson said the best part of hisjob at iJump is playing dodge balland jumping with the kids andmaking their day.

There is nothing better than see-ing them walk out of here thankingyou for playing with them, saidLarson. I hope people love ourfacility so much that they want tocome back and bring 20 of theirfriends with them the next timethey come because they had somuch fun here.
