of a wood which, from dark forest becomes lucus:
di un bosco che da selva oscura si fa lucus:
word with ancient roots that brings together, in its luminosity, light and sacred wood.
parola con radici antiche che riunisce insieme, nel suo lucore, luce e bosco sacro.
Il gioco metaforico si fa metamorfosi, dove l’uomo sperimenta la sua natura di albero che cammina.
Il corpo si trasforma come in antico rito, vegeta in rami d’argento. L’albero espande le braccia in cerca di un raggio di sole. Fremono le foglie di entrambi in mormorii segreti.
Le piante si spogliano delle proprie cortecce di luce. A terra vuote corazze metalliche narrano del passaggio di antichi cavalieri nel bosco di Strozzavolpe, che nelle notti di luna piena, appaiono inseguire una volpe.
Al piano terra, nella cappella della torre, la documentazione del laboratorio dà vita a una installazione arborea. Bosco incartato, segreto incantesimo da svelare verso l’illuminazione.
The metaphoric game becomes metamorphosis, where man tests his nature of walking tree.
The body is transformed, as though part of an ancient rite, into branches made of silver. The tree stretches out its arms in search of a ray of sun. The leaves of both tremble in secret murmurings.
The trees cast off their bark of light. Empty metallic armours lie on the ground, telling of the passage of ancient knights through the wood of Strozzavolpe, seeming to chase a fox when the full moon glows in the night..
On the ground floor, in the tower’s chapel, the laboratory documentation gives life to an arboreal installation. Wrapped wood, secret spell to be revealed towards illumination.
L’incaRtamento non nasconde o copre, ma, pelli-cola lucente e ruvida corteccia, si fondono in natura unica di albero splendente. L’incaRto-incaNto è abbraccio luminoso. Contatto di pelle-corteccia, carezze di luce, favoriscono reciproca comprensione tra uomo e pianta.

THE WRAPPED WOOD
The wrapping neither hides nor covers, but, shining film and rough bark, merge to form the unique nature of a glowing tree. The wrapper-spell is a luminous embrace. Contact of skin-bark, caresses of light, favour reciprocal understanding between man and tree.
