Hello All,
I am Dawn, The librarian for this class, and the librarian at the Wilsonville campus. I have been with Oregon Tech since 2008. Prior to that I was at Florida State University in Tallahassee, and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. I am here to help you with your literature review and to publish your final report when you are finished. (You may see the collection of past senior projects online.)
When not being a librarian, I enjoy cooking, knitting, crochet, and gardening. I have corn, tomatoes, potatoes, zucchini, beets, beans, peas, and garlic growing in my garden this year. In august I hope to can some of the tomatoes into my own sauce. I also am a mom to a 3 year old - who likes tomatoes, so we will see how many are left to can come august.

Hi Dawn, Lean is a popular topic, however just typing lean into one of the library’s search tools will not be specific enough. I suggest getting specific such as lean manufacturing AND management, or if you have an industry in mind, lean manufacturing AND shoes. Thank you for submitting your rough draft. I read through the version you posted and have a couple of suggestions for your research and citation. Princeton University provides some excellent guidelines for when you should include a citation in your paper: http://www.princeton.edu/pr/pub/integrity/pages/cite/. I would suggest reviewing your entire paper to ensure that you have included citations whenever necessary. If you are using multiple pieces of information from the same source, citing the source at the beginning of your sentence or paragraph can help clarify where you found the information.I would suggest reviewing both your in-text and reference list citations once more to catch any minor errors. In particular, pay attention to the formatting for page numbers in in-text citations and to the website citations in your references list. Good examples of APA citations can be found on the library’s website:Your assignment requires that you include 5 credible sources in your paper. Currently you only list 3 sources in your references list. Please let me know if you need help finding additional sources.
