Illinois ENA40th Annual Spring Symposium 2014

The Illinois ENA Spring Symposium Committee is seeking speaker applications for the 40th Annual Spring Symposium. The Spring Symposium is the largest emergency nursing conference in the Midwest and includes the Advanced Clinical Program, designed for advanced practice nurses and experienced nurses, and the General Sessions, including the Keynote Address and Closing Address.

Target AudienceRNs, APNs and nursing students practicing or interested in emergency, urgent, critical care, transport, flight, pre-hospital in a clinical, leadership/management, or educational/academic role.
Average AttendeesMore than 200, including nurses from across Illinois and surrounding states.
TopicsWe are considering all topics related to emergency nursing at the registered nurse and advanced practice nurse levels. Topics should generally fall into one of the following categories:
Clinical Evidence-Based
Practice Injury Prevention
Leadership Management Pediatrics Pharmacology
Physical Assessment Professional Issues Research Trauma
Session Length60 minutes. Consideration will be given to alternative lengths as well for the Keynote and Closing Addresses and Advanced Clinical Program. 120-150 minutes for workshop/hands-on lab to precede the Advanced Clinical Program.
Interested individuals are encouraged to submit proposals by Monday, October 14, 2014. Session speakers will be invited to attend one day of the Spring Symposium complimentary and will receive a stipend.
