Interstate Mainline Improvements
Reconstruct and expand 45 miles of I-39/90 from four to six lanes and reconfigure 11 interchanges
Four to eight lanes from WIS 11 (Avalon Rd.) to WIS 26
• Reconstructed cloverleaf interchange into diamond interchange with two roundabouts
• Proactive presentations with Janesville Police Department, Janesville Craig High School (sophomores, juniors and seniors), Janesville Senior Center and others.
• Created drive-through simulation videos for St. Mary’s Janesville Hospital/Dean Clinic and other area businesses.
WIS 11 (Racine St.) interchange, Janesville
Project staff developed multiple brochures and a narrated video about the DDI alternative at the WIS 11 (Avalon Road) interchange.
