Day 1 Thursday, March 29th

THE FAIRY ORIANA

· Arrival to the Country House & Spa. The symbology of Fada Oriana will be the Inspiration of our Cooking Team, in a suggestion of delicacies to go along with Peceguina Rosé 2017, our novelty!

· Tour around the State with a visit to the farm animals and a wine tasting in the Barrel Room with our enology team.

· Journey to the Fada Oriana imaginary. Our Chefs Joachim Koerper and Bruno Antunes will present the Spring Menu, Farm to Table, inspired in the Nature and in 3 episodes of this tale: “The Queen of the Fairies”, “The Fish”, and “The Tree and the Animals”.

· In the Country House, by the fire place, get to know the Universe of Sophia de Mello Breyner’s tales with our Story Teller.

Day 2 Friday, March 30th

“Trust the Children, the wiseman and the artists.”

Following this recommendation from the King of the Dwarfs, and with the help of Isabel and the Music Teacher, the Dwarf will fullfil his mission, transforming the treasure into a possibility of sharing and

deliverance.

THE FOREST · Wake up to the smell of our homemade bread and feel the scents of breakfast, the season fruits, the jams, the natural juices…

· Plastic Arts Atelier in the Country House – Our teacher will help the younger to paint the Traditional Easter Eggs, a tradition that symbolizes the sharing and the spring symbols.

· Visit to Our Lady of Aracelis, Lower Alentejo’s Highest point, in a jeep or Quad Bike where a countrysi-de lunch will be served – Adventure through the trails of Alentejo’s plains to Our Lady of Aracelis Chapel, searching for the treasures hidden by the King of the Dwarfs underneath the Magic Tree.

· Vitalina Santos, our Traditional Cook, will teach the technic to bake the Traditional Easter Folar.

· Isabel’s Enchanted Forest will be the theme for the Dinner in the Restaurant specially prepared by our Chefs, inspired in the Nature, the Berries and the adventure of the Magic Dwarfs.

· To finish the day accept the invitation of our Astronomers in a walk between the Restaurant and the Country House, where a session of Observation awaits you in one of the Europe’s best Dark Sky reserves.

Day 3Saturday, March 31st

THE GIRL OF THE SEA AND THE NIGHT FROM DENMARKA

“At the bottom of the sea there are forests of algae, gardens of anemones, meadows of rocks. There are Sea-Horses suspended, there are flowers that look like animals and animals that look like flowers.”

· Enjoy, at Dawn, our Malhadinha Breakfast at the Country House. The best combination to a great start of the day!

· Inspired by the Girl of the Sea, we go to Mértola where an Canoeing Experience though the Guadiana River awaits you. An unique opportunity for a radical experience in family in contact with the local wildlife and the amazing landscapes.

· Enjoy a light lunch in the Country House – The Fish, the shellfish from the Algarve Coast and “Sophia’s see” will serve as motto to a meal inspired in the Alentejo and Portuguese Traditions.

“Returning from a long pilgrimage in Palestine, the Knight from Denmark marvels with the cities of Venice and Florence and listens to wonderful stories about painters, poets and sailors.”

· Travel to the XVIth Century, get inspired by Michael Angelo and the creativity of the Italian Renascence Painters in a Painting Session around our vineyards, in contact with Malhadinha’s spring nature, guided by our Invited Artist whom will teach you all the tricks and methods to make your Master-Piece.

· Venetian Dinner. Leonardo da Vinci, one of the most famous renascence men,will be the host of a dinner inspired in the Venice’s shine and glamour. OurCooking Team will present a Menu under the theme – Gold and Light, toaccompany a selection of Italian Wines like Lambrusco and Chianti.

· In the warmth and coziness of the Country House, gather thefamily for a Movie Session under the theme of the Knight fromDenmark and his journey to Italy: The Merchant of Venice, fromMichael Radford.

Day 4Sunday, April 1st

THE TREE“The Ancient Tree, who sang in the breese, became ancient.”

· Breakfast in the Country House – The creativity of our Chefs will surprise you with our Easter delicacies!

· Guided by João, Guest Experience Team, accept the invitation for a morning walk through the trails of Malhadinha to Terges Stream, where an exclusive fishing session awaits the more adventurous!

· Finish your experience with a Family countryside lunch served with all the charm by our team of Chefs, who will recreate Alentejo’s culture remote traditions, like cooking Malhadinha’s Lamb in wood oven.

· Check-out.
