Cantillon has been undertaking the demolition of the buildings that form Ilona Rose House development. The demolition works are due to be completed towards the end of October 2017 followed by the piling and excavation works to be concluded by the end of 2018. Please see below a brief description of the planned works for the w/c 4 th September. Manette Street • Demolition works are ongoing on the 1 st floor of 1-5 Manette Street (former Trefoyle House) and shall be completely down to the ground floor level • Additionally, we shall be commencing the removal of the ground floor slab and overburden at the side and rear of 6-12 Greek Street to allow the archaeological investigation works to take place Charing Cross Road • Demolition works are ongoing on the 1 st floor level of 111-113 Charing Cross Road Greek Street • Demolition works are ongoing on the 3 rd floor of 12-13 Greek Street following the installation of the façade retention scheme • Additionally, the demolition of the rear extension of 14 Greek Street is ongoing General • The movement monitoring of the neighbouring properties and surrounding highways shall continue as normal; on 24 hours a day, seven days a week, Axis security continue to secure and patrol the site as well as monitored TV surveillance units are present on each site elevation. Site Working Hours • General site working hours are: 08.00 to 18.00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 13:00 Saturday. Our noisy operational hours on site will continue in accordance with Westminster City Council’s guidelines. The following main noisy operational hours on site are: 8.00 to 10.00, 12.00 to 14.00 and 16.00 to 18.00 where the heavy demolition operations will be undertaken.
