Design assumptions
every room is equipped with a Samsung TV with iLumio STB
every room is equipped with a Samsung Galaxy TAB tablet with an iLumio application(single app mode)
hotel is equipped with iLumio Middleware and iLumio Headend with antenna system
all devices in the room are connected to BMS
The look&feel of iLumio Applications (TV & table) is custom tailored based on design provided by Puro design agency – the design can be easily customised

adjust the temperature in the room (also underfloor heating in the bathroom)

turn on/off the “do not disturb” and „clean room” icons/controls on the panel in front of the room (with a „do not disturb” option turned on, the hotel staff can’t access the room with a standard staff card)

What hotel staff can do on iLumio tablet in Purohotels
check and change room status (clean, unavailable, checked, requirescleaning, out of service, used)
show a checklist of technical parameters of the room (temperature, state of devices, state of fuses, current residual devices)
send/register a message with a description of an issue found in theroom – messages can be than checked by appointed hotel staff/supervisors
call housekeeping, reception or technical staff

ChargingTablet can be charged via docking stations located near

Anti-theft systemTablet is connected with a specified WiFi Access Point at the
hotel. When the tablet notices that it has been disconnected
from the hotel’s WiFi access point, the iLumio system
automatically sends a SMS to the hotel staff and an alarm
mode is turned on the tablet (special permissions are
required to turn it off)
