Architectural school in Denmark, 9000 m2; field school for savanna region in Africa, 110 m2., both competition entries

Interior design of apartments, project supervision and coordination

As a team member: reconstruction of 2200 m2 private house: landscape concept idea, building physics consulting, building and landscape details design; Engineering of 3 cottages: calculations, construction drawings, etc.

Designed, collaborated with engineers (MEP and structural) and supervised project and construction of a few pavilions — winter and summer use, modern and classical design, for Russian 1-st vice president.

As a member of “Strong Studio” team: designing exclusive and serial objects, such as: staircases, banisters, summer-houses, fireplaces and furniture for private and corporate clients (e.g. Villeroy&Boch).

Designed, engineered, coordinated parts production and made: a series of arm chairs and a series of exclusive coffee tables. Designed a series of foldable sofas for Moscow-based factory Rival.

For Italian company Progetti Srl: designed a few clocks, umbrella stand which are currently produced: www.iprogetti.eu. Radiator design for Great Britain company Bisque Radiators as a result of Radical Radiators Design Competition. Exhibited at 100% Design, London.

Graphic Design for major Russian and international companies (e.g. Danone, Knauf)

Design Department of ZIL Automobile Corporation, Moscow — participated as a team member in designing a new limousine for Russian President.

AWARDS:• Radical Radiators Design Competition by Designboom.com, honorable mention. As a result a prototype

has been built and exhibited at 100% Design in London.

• DuPont, Moscow, Russia. Competition for the best object, made out of Corian. Winner

• The 6th International Festival of architecture and interior design, Moscow, Russia. Runner-up: Came 3rd.

• The 4th International Festival of architecture and interior design, Moscow, Russia. Was runner-up: Came 2nd.

• FIDEXPO Interior Design Exhibition 2004, Moscow, Russia. 1st Prize

• Awarded a prize from The Union of Designers of Russia — “High Level of Design”.

The school of architecture will be located in Aarhus K — new city creative and cultural district which will represent a mix of cultural, educational, commercial and residential housing.

Godsbanen — center for cultural production plays signinficant role in future neighborhood develoment

The area has a weighty cultural heritage, which bears testimony to the urban, industrial and infrastructural development of Aarhus in the 20th century.

COMPETITION PLOT

Original customs warehouse built in 1920.

Carpentry workshop built in 1922 and a fruit auction hall built in 1950

«tarpaulin-building» built in 1922 and used as a drying house for the tarpaulins covering the train wagons.

«The Aarhus School of Architecture has a

student population of approx. 600 and employs

a staff of around 125.»

COMPETITION PLOT SHOULD ALSO INCLUDE:

Columns resemble light posts already existing on the site

Old custOms warehOuse is incorporated in the New School structure as:

• Technical heritage

Roof structure is stripped off to allow daylight let in and for educational purposes.

Undeground water level is 1.75...2.0 m — a reason to lift the Parking House above ground

the appartment was designed for a family of two adults and a child. tOtal area 76.4 m2

There was three main concerns:

• big living rOOm • ventilatiOn and air cOnditiOning system configuraions were designed by architect

to distribute airflows not to disturbe people and not to reduce ceiling hight

• carefull planing to fit all the spaces desired in relatively limited flat area
