“A man has got to know his limitations” – Clint Eastwood Script writers
Limits are a part of everyday life. They can stop us from
enjoying life and doing what we have always wanted. Some say
the sky is the limit, I say “What limit!” If you think about it, the
only limits that really, truly exist are those we impose on
ourselves. We tell ourselves that we can’t do it or it’s
impossible. As humans we tend to prevent ourselves from
enjoying a full and blissful life. We fear a life without limits
because it is unfamiliar territory. So we hide away, fearing the
unknown and convince ourselves that limits exist, when really
they don’t.
For if they did, the world wouldn’t’ be very interesting. It
would be a world full of rule followers and perfectionists and if
it was like that, the world would not have individual thought.
Scientists such as Einstein, Galileo and DaVinci, great
philosophers like Aristotle, Plato and Socrates, none would
have had the impact they had and the world wouldn’t be as
great as it is today. James X. Tippett
“Finally someone else has to endure what I did!”
“it is my mothers, my fathers, my boss’s, Mr. Roger’s2 or my neighbor’s dog fault, for the way I am!”
