My Prayer, My AimIs Higher Ground

Pressing On to HigherGround

Phil. 3:13-15• 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have

apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

• 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

• 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

• The prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus:

• Paul was focused on one thing and would not let those things which are behind distract him from it.

• ONE THING I DO…

• He pressed on for the prize.

Forgetting Those things that are behind…

Reaching Forward to those things that are before…

• I presspress toward the goal for the prize of the HIGH CALLING of God in Christ Jesus:

• I strain toward• I persue toward• I aim toward

But we have to walk the walk,we have to be faithful to Jesus

My Reflection• Thank you God for helping me today…• Thank you God for everything that you have

given me• Thank you God for allowing me the time• To study, to worship, to be cheerful,• to be happy, to be with Jesus.• My Resolve: • Let me each day, keep pressing onward• to HIGHER GROUND!
