Image  Access  is  a  unique  manufacturer  of  large  format  scanning  solu3ons   because   we   capture   all   of   the   three   scanning  methodologies  in  our  product  por9olio:  •  Overhead  scanners  -‐  Bookeye  3  and  Bookeye  4  for  books  in

formats  up  to  A1  (24  x  36)

•  Sheet  feed  scanners  for  document  widths  ranging  between  36  and  48  inches  -‐    WideTEK  36,  WideTEK  42,  WideTEK  48  and  WideTEK  36DS,  WideTEK  36C

•  Flatbed  scanners  -‐    WideTEK  25  for  formats  up  to  A2    (18  x  24)

Electrical   Mechanical  Mechanical   engineers   develop   a   3D   model   of  parts   and   assemblies   on   state   of   the   art   CAD  worksta3ons  (SolidWorks).

We   develop   our   products   ourselves   -‐   from  printed   circuit   boards   to   integrated   electronics  u3lizing  automated  quality  test  systems.

Laser  Culng   SMT  Assembly  Fully  automated  produc3on  of  PCBs  is  achieved  with   SMT   assembly   machines   equipped   with  high  quality  vision  systems.

Mechanical   components   are   manufactured   by  laser   guided   milling   cumers.   The   6KW   laser  assures  highly  precise  sheet  metal  parts.

Due   to   the   higher   number   of   individual   parts,  produc3on  of  the  Bookeye  planetary  scanners  is  more  complex.    The  A2  and  A1  Bookeye  models  with   electrical   book   cradles   require   a     level   of  complexity  in  produc3on.

In  the  final  assembly  of  large  format  scanners,  all   parts   and   assembled   components   are  brought   together   in   each   device   which,  depending   on   its   size,   can   contain   up   to   four  individual  camera  systems.

Scan2Net  Scanner   Tradi3onal  Scanner  •  Various  vendor  specific  API´s,  TWAIN,  ISIS

drivers.  None  covers  the  full  range  of  scanners.    •  Some  scanners  need  special  interface  boards,

all  need  vendor  or  third  party  supplied  drivers.    •  Connec3ng  a  scanner  to  a  PC  can  be  a

painstaking  task.  Even  your  network  guru  has  to  read  the  manual  to  do  the  job.

•  Most  scanners  have  some  form  of  limited  build-‐in  diagnos3cs.  Troubleshoo3ng  requires  a  technician  to  show  up  on-‐site.

•  Limited  or  no  firmware  update  capability.  Best  case  scenario  is  the  execu3on  of  a  service  program  at  the  scanner  loca3on.

•  Same  API  across  all  scanners  from  DIN  A2  flatbed  scanners  to  48”  large  format  scanners.

•  Seamless  integra3on  into  exis3ng  network  infrastructure  without  special  drivers.

•  The  customer  is  the  integra3on  specialist.  Assign  a  valid  IP,  start  your  browser  and  go.  Ask  your  network  guru,  he  will  love  it!

•  Remote  diagnos3cs  via  Intranet,  automated  emails  with  error  reports  lead  to  very  high  up3me  despite  the  low  maintenance  effort.

•  Sooware  op3ons  and  enhancements  can  be  purchased  through  the  Internet  and  installed  remotely.
