S U C C E S S S T A R T SW I T H Y O U .We have to get real and understandwhere we're at mindset wise in order tochange it. One of my favorite people onthe planet, Gary Vee (@garyvee) he'sone of my favorite entrepreneurs andmotivational speakers, he always sayslike the number one thing that you cando in business to be successful is to beself-aware. Self-awareness is keybecause if you don't know where you'reat. How are you ever going to get whereyou want to go?

And that applies to everything. Not justyour Instagram mindset, but businessmindset, relationship mindset, ALL THETHINGS. When you don't know whereyou're at, you cannot get where youwant to go.

I'm going togive examples and things that I like todo, but here's the deal. Mindset startswith you. And so if you are feeling ickyabout anything that I say, any part ofthis course, I want you to justexperiment with doing something thatfeels more aligned with you. This isn't about me giving you a cut,copy, paste, and you have success. Thisis about me showing what me, mystudents and other people I know havedone. And then you tweak it to feelgood for you so that you can have thesuccess that you deserve.

W H Y D O T H E 5 B ' SM A T T E R ?Here's the deal, if you've been showingup on Instagram for any amount oftime and you haven't reached the levelof success that you desire, somethinghas to change. The definition of insanity is doing thesame thing over and over and over andover and over and over again andexpecting different results. If you are constantly posting the samepicture with the same type of edits (orphotos) or the same type ofcaption/content and you aren't havingany success - it is probably time youswitch things up and take a new route.

You can't have a good profile, photos,captions, hashtags, engagement, orvideo, if you don't believe in yourInstagram abilities. It all starts with thefoundation. When you're building ahouse, what do you do first? You lay thefoundation, and if you don't build ahouse on a solid foundation, that housewill not last. Your business, yourInstagram growth and success will notlast if you do not do this work. So it'sreally important that you do.

# 1 - B O S S M E N T A L I T YYou do not need Instagram. A lot ofpeople get caught up in the fact thatthey think they need X, Y, Z. They thinkthey "NEED" Pinterest, "NEED"Instagram, "NEED" Facebook, "NEED"Twitter, "NEED" a VA, "NEED" insert X, Y,Z, right?

The truth? There are plenty of peopledoing something that you want to dothat went about it in a way that isn't theway that you think that you "NEED" togo.

Let's use me for example. I used to thinkthat the only way I could have successwas go to college. I thought I couldnever reach the level of success I desiredwithout a college degree.

I would tell myself "Get a corporate jobat a good company, and work my wayup the ladder". So I went to college foreight years, dropped out, never got onedegree, and then I built this businessfrom the ground up and now I makeway more than I ever thought waspossible "without a degree".

It's literallyyour responsibility to get all your ducksin a row with your mindset and treating Instagram like it's your job. So how do you decide that it's going tobe your job and working on it? Rule number 1 is to commit. I knowthat sounds so simple, but you'd besurprised on how many people are onefoot in and one foot out the door of IG.

You can swap the word Instagram out forwhatever you're trying to achieve - yournext level business self, or your next levelboss or CEO self. Whatever it is you'retrying to work on. But since we're talkingabout Instagram, cause this is InstagramSuperstar, the question today is whatwould my next level Instagram self do?

To go deeper into that, I want you to reallyask yourself some deeper questions andget the answers, the true answers. Itmight take you some time. BUT the moreyou think about it and put the effort intothis, it's going to help you with yourintention and the way that you show up. Going back to self-awareness, we want toget REALLY AWARE - so answering theseQ's will help guide us there!

Why are we not doing that withInstagram?

Why are you allowing every time youcan get on Instagram and you scroll thefeed to feel like shit, why are youallowing yourself  go down thenegativity rabbit hole, right?

Your job is to set up your boundaries, so Ireally want you to think about what thatlooks like for you and how you cancreate that for yourself.

One of the biggest things I see often(and personally struggle with, too) ischecking your phone and social mediawhen you first wake up.

I know I'm not the best at this either, butI can tell you on the days that I don'ttouch my phone, with the exception ofturning off my alarm and doing mymeditation, I feel much better! When Ican put my phone down after that andnot touch it for at least an hour, mymindset is ALWAYS better that day!

How often do you check yourphone and social media firstthing when you wake up in themorning?

How often are you getting on andasking yourself/checking

- How many followers do I have? - How many followers did I lose? - How many DMs do I have?- How many likes did I get?- How many comments? - How many saves,/shares ?

The list goes on and on and on and onand on. And I can guarantee when youdo that first thing in the morning it willRUIN your IG (and regular) mindset!

Do you need to be more intentionalabout when you're getting on yourphone? Do you need to delete the appsfrom your phone every night so thatwhen you wake up in the morning youaren't tempted?

Whatever you have to do, DO IT. It mightbe a little bit more extreme in thebeginning, but once you can build thathabit again, then you can ease up!

It's not about being perfect. It's aboutmaking a 1% shift every single day, andguess what? In 365 days, you'll be 365%BETTER than you were when youstarted!

It's called compound interest and it isone of the most powerful ways to createnew and powerful habits!

When it comes to being happy andfeeling good on Instagram, you have tocreate a fun space!

My favorite way to do this is to clean upyour feed! WHO YOU FOLLOWMATTERS!

If they make you question anythingabout yourself + your business it's timeto get rid of them!

C R E A T I N G Y O U RS A F E T Y B U B B L EFirst, we're going to create a bubble andthen we're going to get out of our headand we're going to be nice to ourselvesand give ourselves grace when we'rehaving a hard time protecting it.

This doesn't mean make yourself feelmore like shit when you screw up. Forexample, if you decide that you're goingto NOT get on your phone everymorning, but then you slip up and dothat, like I did this morning, Id on'g wantyou to negative self talk and get mad.

Instead I would love for you to giveyourself some grace.

A great reseource for this is a bookcalled "Atomic Habits" by JamesClear! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I choose tokeep going.- My ideal clients engage with mycontent daily. - I know exactly what my ideal clientwants, so I can make content that sheconnects with and therefore sheengages. - Making sales on Instagram is easy.

Beliefs are one of the most importantthings when it comes to your mindset.It's about thinking you can dosomething versus knowing that youcan. When it comes to making realconnections and sales on Instagrambeliefs matter.

If you know you can make realconnections and sales on Instagram,you will, if you think you cant, there'smargin for it not happening.

But the reality is, you get to decide!!

2. What do you actually want to believeabout Instagram?

Once we know what our beliefs are(because we wrote them down) then wecan choose different and put a positivespin on them!

If it is too hard for you to go straight into "Ibelieve" and something positive about IG,you can put the words "I'm choosing tobelieve" instead! That releases someresistance and makes it more believable!

3. How can I start acting as if these werealready true and embody them?

We want to embrace our next levelInstagram self and let our actions alignwith our new beliefs! How can you dothat? Start small and don't overwhelmyourself - but when you do this it is sooopowerful!

4. Recognize what is going well and havegratitude!

No matter what, SOMETHING is goingright with your Instagram. Even justtaking this course is a step in the rightdirection!

- The more I show up as myself online,the more money I make. - It's never too late to go after my dream.And Instagram can be a part of that. You feel how much more positive thatis? THESE are beliefs worth havingabout Instagram and YOU GET TODECIDE!!

Do you love horses? Do you lovechocolate labs, like I do? What are somehashtags and some accounts that youcan go follow that are just bright andfun and full of color and completely outof your niche that just makes you feelgood?

Then your job is to go follow them. Thenwhen you login you will see somethinggood, not just a bunch of thecompetition.

The better you can detox your feed andwho you follow, the happier you will be,PERIOD.
