Science On Wheels travels across the Pacific Northwest delivering interactive workshops, live stage shows and portable exhibit sets that build excitement for science, math, engineering and more. Last year, our team of educators facilitated engaging and educational workshops and programs for over 125,000 participants across the Pacific Northwest. Science On Wheels strengthens youth engagement and ignites curiosity and excitement for the captivating world of science! What kinds of programs do you offer? Our educators can engage members of your community with over 120 different programs ranging from 40-minute science shows to a multi-day, whole school experience. We offer six main types of programming: Science Shows: Our live shows bring science to the stage for large audiences. We present scientific content and methods in a compelling, interactive and fun presentation. Shows can accommodate up to 400 participants. Exhibit Sets: Transform any large room into your very own science center! Our hands-on exhibit sets are designed to be an engaging “science playground” for all participants. Most of our programs take place at schools, but we also have programming for science fairs, after-school programs, daycares, community centers, libraries, festivals, fundraisers, family nights, fairs and more.

Where will you present programs?

4 – 104! Our outreach educators have extensive science and education backgrounds, and we have the ability to cater our programs to adults and children of all ages.

What age range do you serve?

Science On Wheels travels across Washington state – and be-yond! Find us in Idaho, Oregon, Alaska and even Montana.

How far will Science On Wheels travel?

Bookings for Science On Wheels programming are made on a first-come, first-served basis. We ask for bookings to be made, at the very latest, three weeks prior to your requested program date.

How far in advance do I have toschedule a program?

Program fees range from $400 to $2,000. Total cost is based on the number of staff required, complexity and duration of the program and distance to your location. Schools across Washington can also take advantage of our regional travel calendar (available online) to book a discounted visit during times when our vans will be in their area.
