The ImageCenter ATM Deposit Management system supports both cash and check deposits, payments and envelope and image-based ATM deposits.

This solution incorporates leading-edge imaging, transaction balancing and fraud detection technology to fully automate the processing and management of ATM deposits through their entire life cycle. The ability to automate virtually every aspect of ATM deposit processing materially increases operating efficiencies and has reduced the related costs by as much as 50 percent.

The system’s end-to-end functionality includes image capture and processing at the ATM, deposit reconciliation, automated balancing, courier management, fraud detection and prevention, the generation of comprehensive reports, audit trails and more.

ImageCenter ATM Deposit Management automatically captures a digital image of each deposited item directly from image-enabled ATMs, nonimage ATMs, check transports and through the ATM network. The system supports all major ATMs, branch and centralized check transports, teller window devices such as MICR swipe readers, and check image capture devices.

The system’s sophisticated character recognition capabilities eliminate manual accounting entries, proof-of-deposit and reconciliation. The ability to automatically balance up to 70 percent of the transactions to the general ledger also decreases deposit balancing time, automates adjustments, customer notification letters, GL posting and enables financial institutions to meet deposit windows without carryovers.

ImageCenter ATM Deposit Management supports an extremely flexible processing environment based on distributed check data capture and centralized processing. A single system installed at a central processing facility supports all branches and sites, and eliminates the need to implement and maintain multiple systems. This approach and centralized data sharing infrastructure dramatically reduces operating costs with the ability to access and view data and check images, and conduct research form any workstation. Operating controls, audit trails and system administration also are efficiently centralized.

The system supports dynamic fraud prevention capabilities that have reduced ATM-related fraud by as much as 80 percent. The system continuously reviews financial transactions and generates immediate alerts of fraudulent and suspicious activities. Dynamic fraud detection tools and sophisticated fraud filters review customer transaction profiles and automate the process required to return and hold funds.
