2 Installation

2.1 Before Making Connections

• Set ‘3’ in the host machine’s service mode:

COPIER>OPTION>INTO-FACE>IMP-CONT.

(As a result, the IP address needed for communica-

tion between the host machine and the machine will

automatically be set up.

• Be sure there will be as much space as indicated for

the installation of the machine, making sure that the

machine’s back is at lest 20 cm from the closest wall:

2.2 Installing to the Host Machine

Before starting the work, be sure to

perform the following on the host ma-

chine in the order indicated:

1. Turn off the control panel power

switch.

2. Turn off the main power switch.

3. Disconnect the power cable (from

the wall/floor outlet).

1) Free the cable [2]/[3] from the cable clamp [1] of

the machine’s upper rear cover.

2) Remove the machine’s upper rear cover [2]. (5

3) Disconnect the 3-pin connector (J1512) [2] from

the power distribution PCB [1].

4) Free the harness from the wire saddle [3]; then, re-

move the 6 screws [4], and detach the main control-

ler cover [5].

5) Free the reader controller communications cable [1]

from the wire saddle [2] on the side.

6) Make preparations for the installation of the I/F PCB.

• If the host machine is not equipped with a UFR

board,

Remove the 2 screws [1], and detach the face plate

[2] that is third from the bottom. (use the removed

screws in the next step.)

• If the host machine is equipped with a UFR board,

Remove the 2 screws [1], and detach the UFR board

[2].

Ask the user to store the UFR board inan appropriate location.

7) Using the removed screw [1], mount the included I/

F PCB [2].

8) Mount the control box cover and the upper rear

cover.

When mounting the control box cover,be sure to connect the connector of thefan. (Otherwise, the machine will in-dicate error code E804-0004.)

Mount the server unit at the location

indicated in view A; if no pedestal is

installed, however, mount it to the lo-

cation indicated in view B.

If you must remove the upper rear

cover after mounting the server unit

in the location indicated in view B, be

sure to remove the sever unit first.

(Otherwise, the bottom of the upper

rear cover will interfere with the top

of the server unit.)

10) Fit the included 2 stepped screws [1] to the lower

rear cover, and hook the color network printer unit

[2] on them.

11) Using the included 4 RS tightening screws [1],

secure the color network printer unit [2] in place.

I/F PCB and the color network printer unit.

13) Using the cross Ethernet cable [1], connect the

color network printer unit and the host machine.

14) Buddle up the reader controller communications

cable, cross Ethernet cable, and communications

cable using the 2 cable clamps [1] on the host ma-

chine side; then, using the 2 included cable clamps

[2], bundle the cross Ethernet cable and the com-

munications cable.

15) Connect one end of the power cable (for power

outlet) [1] to the color network printer unit and the

other end to the power outlet.

16) Connect the host machine’s power cable (for

power outlet).

17) Turn on the machine and its host machine.

2.3 Setting Up the Server Unit

1) Press [Print] tab on the host machine’s control panel.

In case [Print] tab is not displayed, press [Print] tab

after press arrow tab.

2) Press [Printer status/Setting].

In response, the machine will automatically bring

up the Setup menu: select at least [Server Setup],

[Network Setup], and [Printer Setup] in order, stor-

ing appropriate data items as you move on.

For instance, when you have made settings, there

will be a message asking you if you want to save

the changes at the end; you can save the changes by

selecting ‘Yes’. You will not be able to make the

settings that follow unless you have made appro-

priate settings in sequence and saved the changes.

Server Setup:

Use it to set up the server, as by giving a server name.

5) Select ‘Done’ under [Setup].

The machine will automatically run a restart ses-

sion.

3Checking the Operation After

Making Settings

Print out the test page and setup page as follows to

check that the connection between the server unit and

the host machine is correct and the server unit has prop-

erly been set up:

1) Press [Print] tab on the host machine’s control panel.

In case [Print] tab is not displayed, press [Print] tab

after press arrow tab.

2) Press [Printer status/Setting].

3) Make the following selections on the operation

panel: Functions>Print Pages>PS Test Page>and

Configuration.

2 Installation

2.1 Avant d’Effectuer les Connexions

• Régler le mode service de la machine hôte sur ‘3’ :

COPIER>OPTIONS>INTO-FACE>IMP-CONT.

(Ainsi, l’adresse IP nécessaire à la communication

entre la machine hôte et la machine sera réglée

automatiquement).

• S’assurer qu’il y aura assez d’espace, comme

indiqué, pour l’installation de la machine, en

s’assurant que le dos de la machine est situé à au

moins 20 cm du mur le plus proche :

2.2 Installer sur la Machine Hôte

Avant de commencer le travail,

s’assurer de bien effectuer les étapes

suivantes sur la machine hôte, dans

l’ordre indiqué :

1. Éteindre le commutateur

d’alimentation du tableau de

contrôle.

2. Éteindre le commutateur

d’alimentation principal.

3. Déconnecter le câble d’alimentation

(de la prise murale/du sol).

3) Déconnecter le connecteur à 3 broches (J1512) [2]

du PCB de distribution de l’alimentation [1].

4) Libérer le harnais du P.A.C. du câble [3], puis

enlever les 6 vis [4], et séparer le couvercle du

contrôleur principal [5].

5) Libérer le câble de communication du contrôleur

du lecteur [1] du P.A.C. du câble [2] situé sur le

côté.

6) Préparer l’installation du PCB I/F

• Si la machine hôte n’est pas équipée de carte UFR :

Enlever les 2 vis [1], et séparer la plaque avant [2]

(la troisième à partir du bas). (Utiliser les vis enlevées

à l’étape suivante).

• Si la machine hôte est équipée d’une carte UFR :

Enlever les 2 vis [1], et séparer la carte UFR [2].

Demander à l’utilisateur de conserver

la carte UFR dans un lieu approprié.

7) À l’aide de la vis enlevée [1], monter le PCB I/F [2]

compris dans l’emballage.

8) Monter le couvercle du boîtier du contrôleur et le

couvercle arrière supérieur.

Lors du montage du couvercle du

boîtier du contrôleur, s’assurer de bien

connecter le connecteur du ventilateur.

(Dans le cas contraire, la machine

indiquera le code d’erreur E804-0004).

Memo

Monter le serveur à l’emplacement

indiqué sur le schéma A. Cependant,

si aucun piédestal n’a été installé, le

monter à l’emplacement indiqué sur le

schéma B.

S’il est nécessaire d’enlever le

couvercle arrière supérieur après voir

monté le serveur à l’emplacement

indiqué sur le schéma B, s’assurer

d’enlever d’abord le serveur. (Dans le

cas contraire, le bas du couvercle

arrière supérieur interfèrera avec le

haut du serveur).

10) Introduire les 2 vis à palier comprises dans

l’emballage [1] dans le couvercle arrière inférieur,

et y accrocher l’unité d’impression couleur en réseau

[2].

d’impression couleur en réseau [2].

12) À l’aide du câble de communication [1], connecter

le PCB I/F et l’unité d’impression couleur en réseau.

necter l’unité d’impression couleur en réseau à la

machine hôte.

14) Attacher le câble de communication du contrôleur

du lecteur, le câble transversal Ethernet et le câble

de communication à l’aide des 2 pinces à câble [1]

situées sur le côté de la machine hôte. Puis, à l’aide

des 2 pinces à câbles comprises dans l’emballage

[2], attacher le câble transversal Ethernet et le câble

de communication.

15) Connecter une extrémité du câble d’alimentation

(pour prise d’alimentation) [1] à l’unité d’impression

couleur en réseau, et l’autre extrémité à la prise

d’alimentation.

16) Connecter le câble d’alimentation de la machine

hôte (pour prise d’alimentation).

17) Allumer la machine et sa machine hôte.

2.3 Mise au point de l’unité principale

1) Sur l’écran de contrôle, sélectionner [Edition] puis

appuyer sur la touche [Etat Edition/Options].

2) En guise de réponse , l ’appare i l montre

automatiquement le menu d’options. S’assurer que

toutes les options ont été correctement sélectionnées

dans l’ordre suivant: [installation serveur], [instal-

lation réseau], et [installation imprimante].

Par exemple, lorsque les réglages ont été effectués,

un message apparaîtra pour vous demander si vous

souhaitez sauvegarder les changements : vous

pouvez sauvegarder les changements en

sélectionnant ‘Yes’. Vous ne pourrez pas effectuer

les réglages suivants si vous n’avez pas effectué les

réglages appropriés dans l’ordre, et sauvegardé les

changements.

Réglage du Serveur :

Sert à régler le serveur, en lui donnant un nom.

Sert à régler le réseau, en effectuant les réglages

relatifs au port, au protocole, et au service.

5) Sélectionner ‘Done’ dans le menu [Setup].

La machine redémarrera automatiquement.

3Contrôle de l’Opération après

avoir sélectionné les Options

Editer une page de test ainsi qu’une page d’options de

la manière suivante afin de s’assurer d’une part que

toutes les options ont été correctement sélectionnées

et d’autre part que toutes les connexions ont été

correctement établies:

1) Sur l’Ecran de Contrôle, sélectionner [Edition],

appuyer sur la touche [état édition/sélection].

2) Sélectionner les options suivantes sur l’écran LCD:

fonction>édition page>test page/options page.

2 Installation

2.1 Vor dem Anschließen

• Stellen Sie den Servicemodus der Hostmaschine auf

„3“: COPIER > OPTIONS > INTO – FACE > IMP

– CONT. (Die für die Kommunikation zwischen

Hostmaschine und Kopierer erforderliche IP -

Adresse wird automatisch eingestellt.)

• Achten Sie bei der Installation der Maschine darauf,

dass wenigstens 20 cm zwischen der Rückseite der

Maschine und der nächsten Wand frei bleiben.

2.2 Installation der Hostmaschine

Vor Arbeitsbeginn müssen Sie die

f o l g e n d e n S c h r i t t e a n d e r

Hostmaschine in der angegebenen

Reihenfolge ausführen:

1. Schalten Sie die Schalttafel am

Stromschalter aus.

2. Schalten Sie den Geräteschalter aus.

3. Ziehen Sie das Stromkabel ab (aus

der Wand- / Bodensteckdose).

4) Ziehen Sie die Kabelpeitsche aus der Kabelschelle

(3); entfernen Sie dann die 6 Schrauben (4), und

nehmen Sie die Abdeckung (5) des Hauptcontrollers

ab.

5) Lösen Sie das Kommunikationskabel (1) von der

Kabelschelle (2) an der Seite.

6) Bereiten Sie die Installation der I/F PCB vor.

• Wenn die Hostmaschine nicht mit einer UFR - Karte

ausgestattet ist.

Entfernen Sie die 2 Schrauben (1) und nehmen Sie

die Planscheibe (2) ab, die sich ein Drittel über dem

Boden befindet. (Verwenden Sie die entfernten

Schrauben im nächsten Schritt).

• Wenn die Hostmaschine mit einer UFR - Karte

ausgestattet ist.

Entfernen Sie die 2 Schrauben (1), und nehmen Sie

die UFR - Karte (2) ab.

Beauftragen Sie den Benutzer, die

UFR - Karte an einem geeigneten Ort

aufzubewahren.

7) Benutzen Sie die entfernte Schraube (1), um die

beigelegte I/F PCB (2) einzubauen.

8) Montieren Sie die Abdeckung der Kontrollbox und

die obere hintere Abdeckung.

Achten Sie bei der Montage der

Abdeckung der Kontrollbox darauf,

die Lüftungsstecker anzuschließen.

(Ansonsten zeigt die Maschine den

Fehlercode E804-0004 an.)

Montieren Sie die Servereinheit an der

Stelle, die in der Ansicht A angezeigt

ist: wenn jedoch kein Sockel installiert

ist, müssen Sie die Montage an dem

Ort durchführen, der in der Ansicht B

angezeigt ist.

Wenn Sie die obere hintere Abdeckung

entfernen müssen, nachdem Sie die

und haken Sie den Farbnetzwerkdrucker (2) in ihnen

13) Verwenden Sie das gekreuzte Ethernetkabel (1),

um den Farbnetzwerkdruck mit der Hostmaschine

zu verbinden.

14) Bündeln Sie das Kommunikationskabel des

Lesegerätcontrollers und das Kommunikationskabel

mittels der 2 Kabelklemmen (1) seitlich an der

Hostmaschine: bündeln Sie dann mittels der 2

beigelegten Kabelklemmen (2) das Ethernet- und

das Kommunikationskabel.

15) Verbinden Sie das Ende des Stromkabels (für die

Steckdose) (1) mit dem Farbnetzwerkdrucker und

das andere mit der Steckdose.

16) Schließen Sie das Stromkabel der Hostmaschine

(für die Steckdose) an.

17) Schalten Sie die Maschine und die Hostmaschine

an.

2.3 Die Maschine einstellen

1) Auf der Kontrolltafel [Print] wählen und auf [Printer

Status/Settings]drücken.

2 ) D i e M a s c h i n e z e i g t a u t o m a t i s c h d a s

Einstellungsmenü an. Mindestens folgende

Einstellungen wählen und die notwendigen

Einstellungen wie folgt einstellen: [set up server],

[set up network]und[set up printer]

Wenn Sie zum Beispiel die Einstellungen gemacht

haben, fragt eine Meldung Sie, ob Sie die

Änderungen speichern möchten; Sie speichern die

Änderungen, indem Sie „Yes“ drücken. Sie können

die folgenden Einstellungen nur durchführen, wenn

Sie die entsprechenden Einstellungen in der

richtigen Reihenfolge durchgeführt und sie

gespeichert haben.

Server Setup:

Wird für das Setup und die Benennung des Servers

verwendet.

Wird für das Setup des Netzwerks und die

Einstellungen für Port, Protokoll und Service

verwendet.

5) Wählen Sie „Done“ unter (Setup) aus.

Die Maschine startet sofort neu.

3Die Funktion nach den erfolgten

Einstellungen

Erstellen Sie wie folgt eine Test- und Einstellungsseite,

und achten Sie darauf, dass Sie die richtigen

Einstellungen für die Mascchine und die Hostmaschine

durchageführt haben:

1) Auf der Kontrolltafel [Print] wählen, dann auf Press

[PrinterStatus/Settings].

2)Auf dem LCD folgendes wählen: function>print

page>test page/settings page.

2 Installazione

2.1 Prima della realizzazione delle connessioni

• Impostare “3” nella modalità di servizio della

macchina ospite: COPIER>OPTION>INTO-

FACE>IMP-CONT. Questo consente l’impostazione

automatica dell’indirizzo IP necessario per la

comunicazione fra la macchina ospite e la macchina.

• Assicurarsi che sia presente lo spazio minimo

indicato per l’installazione della macchina, e

soprattutto che il retro della macchina si trovi ad

almeno 20 cm di distanza dalla parete più vicina.

2.2 Installazione della macchina ospite

Prima di procedere con l’installazione

assicurarsi di eseguire nell’ordine

indicato le seguenti operazioni sulla

macchina ospite:

1. Spegnere l’interruttore del pannello

di controllo.

2. Spegnere l’interruttore principale di

alimentazione.

3. Scollegare il cavo di alimentazione

dalla presa elettrica.

coperchio del controller principale [5].

ler [1] dalla fascetta fermacavo [2] sul lato.

6) Preparazione all’installazione della scheda di

interfaccia.

• Se la macchina ospite non è dotata di una scheda

UFR, Rimuovere le 2 viti [1] e togliere il

coperchietto anteriore [2] (il terzo dal basso). Le

viti rimosse verranno riutilizzate nel passo seguente.

• Se la macchina ospite è dotata di una scheda UFR.

Rimuovere le due viti [1] e rimuovere la scheda UFR

[2].

Richiedere all’utente di conservare con

cura la scheda UFR in un luogo adatto.

7) Utilizzando la vite [1] rimossa al punto precedente,

montare la scheda di interfaccia fornita [2].

8) Rimontare il coperchio della cassetta di controllo e

il coperchio posteriore superiore.

Durante il montaggio del coperchio

della cassetta di controllo, assicurarsi

di col legare i l connet tore del

ventilatore. In caso contrario la

macchina indicherà il codice di errore

E804-0004.

Montare l’unità server nella posizione

indicata nel diagramma A. Se tuttavia

non è installato alcun piedestallo,

montare l’unità server nella posizione

indicata dal diagramma B.

rimuovere il coperchio posteriore

10) Montare sul coperchio posteriore inferiore le due

viti a gradino [1] fornite e agganciare ad esse la

Color Network Printer Unit [2].

17) Accendere la macchina e la sua macchina ospite.

2.3 Configurare la macchina

1) Sul Pannello di Controllo, selezionare “Stampa”

[Print] quindi premere “Stato stampante/

Impostazioni” [Printer Status/Settings].

2) Il sistema mostrerà automaticamente il menu

“Impostazioni” [Settings]. Seguire correttamente le

istruzioni e configurare le impostazioni appropriate

nel seguente ordine: “Configurare server” [set up

server], “Configurare rete” [set up network] e

“Configurare stampante” [set up printer].

Ad esempio, dopo aver eseguito le impostazioni,

verrà visualizzato un messaggio che chiede di

confermare se si desidera salvare le modifiche. Per

salvare le modifiche, scegliere “Yes”. Sarà possibile

eseguire le configurazioni successive solo se sono

state eseguite le configurazioni precedenti nella

sequenza corretta e i cambiamenti sono stati salvati.

Server Setup

Consente di configurare il server, assegnando ad

esso un nome.

Consente di configurare la rete, impostando i valori

appropriati relativi a porta, protocollo e servizi.

Consente eseguire le impostazioni relative alla coda

di stampa.

5) Selezionare “Done” in [Setup].

La macchina eseguirà automaticamente una sessione

di riavvio.

3Controllare le operazioni dopo

avere configurato le impostazioni

Stampare una pagina di prova e la pagina delle

impostazioni come indicato dalle istruzioni seguenti per

verificare che tutte le impostazioni siano state effettuate

correttamente sia sulla macchina che sulla macchina host

corrispondente, e che tutti i collegamenti siano regolari:

1) Sul Pannello di Controllo, selezionare “Stampa”

[Print], premere “Stato stampante/impostazioni”

[Printer status/Settings].

2) ullo schermo LCD selezionare di seguito:

“Funzione” [function] > “Stampa pagina” [print

page] > “Pagina di prova/pagina delle impostazioni”

[test page/settings page].

２設置手順

2.1 接続前の準備

■ 接続機器のサービスモード

COPIER>OPTION>INT-FACE>IMG-CONTを「3」に

設定しておくこと。（接続機器と本機間の通信

用 IPアドレスを自動で設定するモード）

■PSプリントサーバユニット・C1はLIPSモデル

には取り付けることができない。

そのため接続機器のサービスモード

COPIER>DISPLAY>VERSION>BOOT-ROMを見てLIPS

モデル（xx.yyLと表示）である場合はBOOT-ROM

を交換して、コピーモデルに変更すること。

■下図のように本機を設置するスペースを確保す

る。本機の背面から 20cm以上のスペースが必

要である。

2.2 接続機器への取り付け

設置する前に、必ず接続機器側で

下記の作業を順番通りに行うこと。

1.操作部電源スイッチをOFFする。

2.主電源スイッチを OFFする。

3.電源ケーブル（コンセント用）

を抜く。

ら、ケーブル[2]/[3]を取り外す。

３）分電基板[1]の3ピンコネクタ（J1512）[2]を

取り外す。

４）ワイヤサドル[3]から束線を外した後、ビス

[4]6本を外してメインコントローラカバー[5]

を取り外す。

５）リーダコントローラ通信ケーブル[1]を側面

のワイヤサドル[2]から外す。

６）I/F回路基板の取り付け準備を行う。

■本体に UFRボードが設置されていない場合

ビス[1]2本を外して、下から3段目の目隠し板

[2]を取り外す。（取り外したビス[1]は次の手

順で使用する）

　ビス[1]2本を外して、UFRボード[2]を取り外

す。（取り外したビス[1]は次の手順で使用す

る）

取り外した UFRボードはユーザー

に渡し、保管して頂くこと。

ケーブルクランプ[2]2 個で、クロスイーサ

一方をコンセントに接続する。

16) 複写機本体の電源ケーブル（コンセント用）

を接続する。

17) 接続機器と本機の電源を ONにする。

2.3 本機の設定

１）接続機器の液晶表示部上の｢プリンタ｣タブを

押す。｢プリンタ｣タブが表示されていない場合

は、矢印｢⇒｣タブを押した後、｢プリンタ｣タブ

を押す。

２）｢プリンタ状況 /設定｣ボタンを押す。

その後、自動的に｢設定｣メニューに入るので、

最低｢サーバ設定｣、｢ネットワーク設定｣、｢プリ

ンタ設定｣の各項目を順番に選択し、各々デー

タを保存する。

例えば、「サーバ設定」の各項目を設定してい

くと、最後に変更の保存をするかどうかを選択

する画面が表示されるので、「はい」を選択す

ると、その時の設定を保存することができる。

各項目を順番に選択して保存しないと次の項目

を設定できない。

サーバ設定：

サーバ名の設定等を行う。

ポート設定、プロトコル設定、サービス設定

を行う。

３) 「設定」メニューの「閉じる」を選択する。

その後、自動的に再起動が行われる。

３設定後の動作確認

以下の手順で、テストページ、設定ページを出力

し、接続機器と本機の接続および本機の設定を確

認する。

１）接続機器の液晶表示部上の｢プリンタ｣タブを

押す。｢プリンタ｣タブが表示されていない場合

は、矢印｢⇒｣タブを押した後、｢プリンタ｣タブ

を押す。

２）｢プリンタ状況 /設定｣ボタンを押す。

３）液晶表示部上の｢機能｣-｢ページの印刷｣-｢テ

ストページ｣および｢設定ページ｣を選択する。
