Blackstock is available for exclusive hire. This means

that our barns, grounds and children’s play areas can

all become your own secluded romantic kingdom.

You are welcome to hire just one space, but having

the whole estate at your disposal will add sparkle to

The Tudor BarnImagine exchanging your vows in a beautifully restored,

500-year-old barn filled with the atmosphere of

centuries past. One wing of our lovely Tudor Barn is

set aside for ceremonies of up to 120 guests, or you

can accommodate 180 if you use the whole of the space.

Afterwards, your wedding party can wander into the

courtyard for drinks while enjoying views of the

South Downs.

Blackstock boasts an entire two-storey Soft Play Barn for

children, as well as outdoor play areas. From climbing frames

to swings to slides, they will have plenty to keep them busy for

the entire day.

Arranging your ceremony

Church ceremoniesIf you would like to get married in a church and have your

reception afterwards at Blackstock, then we can advise you.

Our closest church is the stunning St. Peter and St. Paul in

Hellingly, which dates back to the 14th century and is perched on

a Saxon mound. You can contact the local vicar on 01323 440450

Blackstock ceremoniesBoth of our beautiful barns are licensed for marriage ceremonies.
