A qualified consultant who is an IMC USA Professional Member in good standing must complete the following four steps to be certified:

Submit a certification application to IMC USA, including written case studies of at least three engagements.

Provide evaluations of your prior work from five different clients, sent electronically. IMC USA may verify information with the client as needed.

Take online Ethics and Consulting Competency examinations.

Sit for a panel interview with senior consultants. It includes a review of your consulting experience, an oral ethics exam, an assessment of your knowledge of the consulting competency framework and body of knowledge, and your ability to work through typical consulting engagement issues.
