National Climate Centre (NCC), India Meteorological Department,Pune has brought out a revised CD ROM containing high resolutiondaily gridded rainfall data set for the Indian region. The data set con-tains 54 years (1951-2004) of daily gridded (1 X 1 degree Lat/Long)data, interpolated using quality controlled station rainfall data.

This IMD Gridded daily rainfall data CD ROM is available to re-search community in academic and research institutes. Thisdata set is not meant for any commercial use and applications
