CAD functions
Easy-to-use (…”only” one optimized possibility)
Snapping (start-/end- point, vertex, mid point, orthogonal, intersection)
Auxiliary constructions (point, distance, polyline, extend-to, arc)
Object relations (parallel to, show relations, use existing geometry)
Capture and editing dialogs (e.g. input of x/y/z, distance lock, angle lock, …)
General functions (e.g. rotate, move, union, split…)
NEW IN 2014
RasterBlaster
Server side component allows generation of high quality .png and .jpg files which are required for HTML clients (e.g. Geospatial Portal) or as map content for WorkFlow Forms.
Reports
Server side report engine with map content:
Generate reports (as .pdf, .xlsx, .docx) out of your workflow
Integrate a map into the report
Smart Search
Smart Search:
“Single point of input” to search and set legend entries, bookmarks, queries, map center and scale.
Styling of client side redline features
Easy to handle symbology settings for client side redline
features
Several different styles can be “mixed” in one layer
(feature class)
Bing MapsClient can consume Bing maps content (Street maps, Orthophotos and
Orthophotos with labels)
Appears as a “standard” layer including coordinate transformation “on
the fly”.
Tablet Enhancements for Windows 8 Pro
Microsoft Location API
To enable positioning without having a GPS receiver in your tablet
GMSC now offers you the possibility to do positioning with the help of
Microsoft’s Location API. Form more details on Microsoft Location API
see here.
WorkFlow support for GPS points:
User can define WorkFlows with “direct” usages of GPS coordinates to
capture point features.
New buttons
Allowing you for example end some snapping actions, because you
have usually no escape button on your tablet.
