Imperial Secondary School situated on a 27 acres, located on Plot No. 1, Block “ C “ Msolwa - Chalinze, along Dar es Salaam – Morogoro road.

The School has 10 spacious class-rooms for 30 students each; two classrooms will be equipped with smart-boards, while the others have a modern Technology technique such as computer projectors; tablets to every student with free WI-FI connection (with NO ACCESS to social networks); 4 laboratories for

(Chemistry, Physics, Biology & Geography) IT-class; Assemblies Hall, Library, Semi Olympic-size Swimming Pool, Football Pitch and Basketball Court, Dinning Hall and 4 Dormitories for boys-2 and girls-2.

The Health and wellbeing of our students is one of the top priorities of Imperial Secondary School. For this reason we have established our In-House Sickbay on the school compound. The sickbay is working 24/7 and is ready to accommodate up to 18 people. Medical personnel are fully prepared to attend Out-Patient, while our Ambulance is placed on standby in case of any serious medical emergency on site.

Imperial Secondary School is paying a special attention to Safety & Security to our Community, as well as Crimes protection, with the modern Safety & Security Gears & Tools, such as Standby and Fully Equipped Fire Fighting Vehicle, Security Scanners and Surveillance.

To ensure our students have an Academic Privacy, Community of the Imperial Secondary School, is properly Fenced with 4 meters Height of the concrete wall and has only one entrance, for the Safety & Security purposes, every person entering the school Community, will be properly screened. Our Professional Security Guards will be present at school Community, 24 hours.

Imperial Secondary School offers NECTA and IGCSE curriculums:

NECTA curriculum of Secondary Education consists of optional subjects plus core and compulsory subjects. The core and compulsory subjects in Form 1 and 2 that are offered by Imperial Secondary School, include Mathematics, English, Physics with Chemistry, Kiswahili, Biology, History, Geography, Civics and Religion.

The optional subjects in Form 1 and 2 include Home Economics, Information and Computer Studies, Additional Mathematics, Music, Fine Arts, French, Islamic Studies, Bible Knowledge and Physical Education. Students may choose none or any one or two of the listed subjects that are offered at our School.

The core subjects in Form 3 and 4 include Mathematics, English, Kiswahili, Biology, Civics, Religion, History, Geography, Physics and Chemistry.

The optional subjects in Form 3 and 4 include Home Economics, Information and Computer Studies, Additional Mathematics, Music, Fine Arts, French, Islamic Studies, Bible Knowledge, and Physical Education.

The minimum number of subjects required for the Certifi cate of Secondary Education Examinations is seven.

All candidates MUST be tested in Mathematics, English, Kiswahili, Biology & Civics and they should get a minimum Qualifi cation that Acceptable with Our School’s rules and regulation, prior to be granted a Full Registration.

School detailed Joining Instructions Forms will be provided ONLY when the selected Candidates has PASSED through the ENTRY EXAMINATION.

Entry examinations will be conducted on 8th of November-2014, (12:30 HOURS) to the School Main Campus, Located on PLOT NO. 1, BLOCK “ C “- MSOLWA, CHALINZE.

School OPEN and CLASSES BEGINS ON 5th of January-2015.

IGCSE (Cambridge) Curriculum:

“IGCSE” stands for “International General Certifi cate of Secondary Education”.

There are different examination boards, but at Imperial Secondary School offers the Cambridge IGCSE, Administered by Cambridge University in the UK.

At Imperial Secondary School, we offer a wide range of Cambridge IGCSE courses; English, French, English literature, Humanities, Sciences, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Arts & Design, Business Studies, Information Communication and Technology, Physical Education. We feel that the IGCSE program is well-suited to our students because;

1. It provides a good challenge to the best students, but at the same time it can be tailored to cater for students who may be fi nd it diffi cult.

2. It allows students either to follow a general program or to start to specialize if they already have a clear idea of their future career.

3. It teaches students how to develop ability to think and work independently.

4. It is a well-known international program, with all the fi nal assessment taking place in the UK, and accepted throughout the world.

5. It is a good preparation for the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, which our students go on to in grades 11 and 12, and which is an excellent qualifi cation for university entry anywhere in the world.

FEES SCHEDULE

Imperial Secondary School charges tuition fees to cover the full costs of tuition, exercise books, loan of text books, ICT Devices with its Peripherals and participation in all aspects of the sports programmes.

Boarding fees include the full costs of boarding care, accommodation, laundry, food, and medical services by our In-School Medicals Services.

You may pay tuition and boarding fees either in one complete payment for the whole school year, or in Two separated installments.

The amount of TZS 20,000 has to be paid for registration form.
