The Manipur Human RightsCommission (MHRC) todaydirected the Director-Generalof Police to instruct allconcern Superintendents ofPolice to immediately clear theblockages at approach roadsby some local club membersto give free passage to thetransportation of essentialitems and ambulance actingon a petition filed by Rightsactivist BasantakumarWareppa.In his petition, the activiststated that the government ofManipur imposed curfew aftera 23 years old girl testedpositive for COVID -19 .Drawing the attention of theCommission, the activist saidthat the curfew was imposedto further check the movementof the people which will remainin force until further order bythe government of Manipur.However, in this curfewcertain essential services
