Conclusion

• Zebrafish:

– Inflammatory response is indeed, present in zebrafish after seizures;

– valuable alternative model for studying molecular mechanisms underlying inflammation and seizures;

– Valuable for investigation of anti-inflammatory compounds that could be potentially therapeutics for seizure suppression.
