About JEE Advanced 2014

• JEE Advanced 2014 to be held on Sunday, May 25, 2014

• Top 1, 50,000 JEE Mains qualified will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2014.

• Admission to IITs depend on All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Advanced 2014.

Type of the Exam

• JEE Advanced comprises of two papers, each of 3 hours duration.

• Use black ball point pen.• Question papers

available in both Hindi and English.

• Each paper consists of three category – Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

Eligibility to Write JEE Advanced 2014

• Must have appeared for Paper – 1 of JEE Main 2014 in the month of April 2014.

• GE and OBC categories born on or after – October 1, 1989.

• SC, ST & PwD born on or after - October 1, 1984.

• Only Two attempts allowed, but in consecutive years.

JEE Advanced 2014 – Online Registration

• JEE Main 2014 will be declared by May 3, 2014

• Only JEE Main qualified candidates will be eligible.

• Register online at http://jeeadv.iitkgp.ac.in/

• From - May 04 to May 09, 2014 between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

JEE Advanced 2014 – Fee Payment

• Payment should be done through challan generated during registration.

• Can be done in any branch of SBI having core banking solution (CBS) before May 10 2014 by 5 p.m.

• GE and OBC male candidates – pay INR 2000/-

• ST, SC and PwD – pay INR 1000/- (no fee for females).

• Candidates from Dubai – pay USD 220.

JEE Advanced 2014 – Admit Card

• Download and print admit card from May 11 to May 24, 2014.

• After receiving the admit card, verify the details on it.

• In case of any mistake, contact Chairman JEE (Advanced) of the Zonal IIT before May 22, 2014.
