IMPORTANT STUDY RULES

continued

Staying away from an exam (no-show) If you stay away from an exam you have registered for, the no-show will count as an examination attempt.

The no-show rule also means that you do not have the right to participate in the re-examination in the subject during the same examination period.

The Study Board may grant an exemption from the rule of participation in re-exams if unusual circumstances apply.

If you fall ill in connection with an exam

If you fall ill in connection with an exam, you have to get hold of a medical certificate. The medical certificate must document the illness on the day of the exam or during the exam period. Previously issued medical certificates are not valid. Please send the medical certificate to the study secretary no later than 14 days after the exam.

Ask if in doubt You will come across other rules and guidelines during your studies, so please always ask your study secretary or study board secretary, when in doubt. Your fellow students are unlikely to be familiar with the latest set of rules.

As a student at Aalborg University, it is your responsibility to: • Make sure that you have prepared sufficiently in order to pass your exams.• Keep yourself informed about exam times – which includes making sure you show up for
