Rules and Regulation

SKATING (GIRLS‟ & BOYS‟)

1. The championship will be held according to the RSFI (9RR) rules & regulations, with Modifications wherever applicable. 2. From each school only one participant can participate in each event. 3. A skater can take part in maximum two events in her/his age group. 4. A skater can take part either in Quads or in In-line events. 5. From each Zone, in each event, separately in Girls‟ & Boys‟ in different age categories, the first position winners and runner-ups will qualify to participate in the Nationals. 6. The skater taking part in Quads should wear the skates that should not have heels attached to the shoe & should not be high ankle. 7. The skating costume should be skin tight. 8. Helmet is compulsory. 9. The wheels for speed skating is only to be used which are broader in size. 10. The decision of the technical committee/referee shall be final. 11. Any photograph/video clipping other than from official Camera shall not be considered for any reference. 12. No protest will be entertained from parents. 13.Protest, if any, has to be submitted in writing by the team Coach/Manager with The Chief Referee, within 15 min of the announcement of result. The decision of the Jury of Appeal shall be final.

ACCREDITED REPRESENTATIVES (TEACHER/COACH/MANAGER)

1. All the teams shall be accompanied by a Teacher/Coach/Manager designated by the participating school Principal.

2. No team will be permitted to participate without accompanying official.

3. No team shall be accompanied by any parent. However if a parent is accompanying

the team, such information may be provided by the school on the school letterhead.

4. No team shall be accompanied by more than two officials.

5. In case of Girls participants, one of the accompanying officials must be a female.

The officials accompanying the team shall have a valid Identity Card

issued by their school Principal.

General / Mandatory Instruction

1. Taking part in Opening ceremony & closing ceremony is mandatory for all school and players.

2. Escort Coach/Manager shall be held responsible for their student’s behavior and use of stung language. The same shall be reported to their school Principal/Management.

3. At time of event in progress only participating or qualified student/athletes shall be entitled to enter in skating arena, other players shall be expected to stay out of skating arena.

4. Players must give their attendance to official 45 min prior to scheduled time of

Event.

5. It is mandatory for all coaches/managers/players to wear school identity card during days

of meet irrespective they are in or out of school campus.

6. It is mandatory for all the schools to deposit total amount for all the days of competition as per CBSE norms at the time of reporting.

7. Students movement after 9:00 PM outside their accommodation room is shall not

be allowed.

8. It is mandatory for all coaches & Managers to stay with students is allotted

Accommodation room.

9. Bringing or use of tobacco sachets, cigarettes, and liquor is strictly prohibited in school

campus .If any coach/manager/student is found drunk or smoking in campus, his/her team

shall be disqualified with immediate effect and same will be informed to their principal.

10. Only Veg. meals will be served in school campus.

11. The host school shall not be responsible for any incident happens out of school campus during outing of any coach/manager/team or players. Any one moving outside school campus need to enter the movement register with security and will be the responsibility of the escorts of respective schools.

IMPORTANT: IT SHALL BE MANDATORY

AGE: The athlete/player should be within the particular age group on 31 December of the year of

competition. (a) Only bonafide students shall be eligible to participate in the Inter-School tournaments/meets. Feeding any non bonafide student shall lead to disqualification of the team.

(b) A student, who has failed twice in a particular class, shall no more be eligible to

Participate.

(c) Incomplete information in any respect is liable for disqualification of team.

(d) Any violation in eligibility (over age or Impersonation) shall be dealt according

to rules.

(e) The original eligibility Performa of the Athletes/Players/Teams qualifying to participate from Cluster/Zone level to National level will have to be certified by

the Organizing school at the Cluster/Zone level as the case may be and forwarded to the National Organizing School, immediately after their

Cluster/Zone level competition is over.

(f) Medical checkup may also be applied by the Jury of Appeal appointed by the

Organizing school in the cases of overage suspicion.

(g) A player shall be Under 08, 10, 12, 14, 16 & 19 years of age On 31 Dec 2019:- 1. Under 08 years : Born on or after 01.01.2012 2. Under 10 years : Born on or after 01.01.2010 3. Under 12 years : Born on or after 01.01.2008 4. Under 14 years : Born on or after 01.01.2006 5. Under 16 years : Born on or after 01.01.2004

6. Under 19 years : Born on or after 01.01.2001

(h) All the supporting papers verifying the age of the player, etc in original, as per

the CBSE Guidelines & Rules shall be carried personally by the Team

Manager/Coach while reporting for participation.

(i)The players right to participate forfeits if fails to produce the papers

Supporting the eligibility in original on demand.

(ii) Any team/athlete not fulfilling the eligibility criteria before the

Commencement of the tournament/meet shall not be permitted to

Participate.

IMPORTANT: IT SHALL BE MANDATORY FOR ALL THE

PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING ON

ARRIVAL AT VENUE- (i) The documents for verification in original if asked for. (ii) The team photo with school Principal along with the entry Performa, Countersigned by the concerned Principal. (iii) To provide CBSE registration number for student/player studying in class IX and above. (iv) To supply the eligibility Performa filled-in online, countersigned by the concerned Principal.
