-To reduce risk of electric shock, lamp features a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) designed to fit one way into a polarized outlet. If plug does not fully fit into outlet, reverse plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use an extension cord that does not permit plug to fully seat. Do not alter plug.-Read instructions carefully and completely before beginning assembly or installation.-Product must be installed according to applicable code(s) by a person familiar with its construction and operation.-Lamp requires a Type A MEDIUM Base Bulb (NOT included).-Socket rated up to 40 WATTS MAXIMUM INCANDESCENT, LED or CFL bulb.

Remove all parts, hardware and protective packaging from carton and carefully arrange on a clean, level surface.

NOTE: To avoid accidentally discarding small parts or hardware, retain all carton contents until after assemblyand installation are complete.

STEP 1: Join Arm Assembly (A) to Base Assembly (B) by aligning both at pivot joint then hand-tightening until secure. Arm Assembly and Shade may be adjusted by loosening and tightening pivot joint.
