PAN :PAN Number required in the application for Proprietor / all Partners / Directors / Trustees etc. Details should match with Income Tax website. Foreign director Enter six zero(000000) in the PIN code field by which

the system will not prompt for PAN detail/City/State. Pay Fee Rs.500/- for New IE Code. Rs.200/- for IEC data Modification.

Complete all details by filling relevant information online like:

1. IEC Master 2. Branch 3. Director 4. Pay Fee through any designated bank online 5. Attach documents 6. At every stage you can preview the application for

correctness 7. At final stage take a print and sign it, attach a scanned copy

online under the category "DCLDOC" 8. Submit it to DGFT, RA (Regional Authority of DGFT) online

through Digitial Signature.

Q1. What is the pre-requisite for modifying the IEC ?

Ans. Pre-requisite for modifying the IEC is as given below

a)Valid PAN of an individual/company/proprietor on which IEC was issued to the party.

b) Valid e-mail id.

c)Valid Mobile No.

d) Online payment of fees of Rs 200/- (Two Hundred only)
