On March 21, 2011, I started this little legacy idea. I progressed along pretty well until July 5, 2011. Even made it through three generations. Then…well…

But, inspiration has stuck again!

The Geebiv’s have been resurrected for my simmingenjoyment. Hopefully you will enjoy them as I share them with you.

Let’s start with a refresher, shall we? I hate to be repetitive, but it’s been FOUR YEARS since anybody’s seen or heard from these guys.

In the science of light, a beam is passed through a prism and becomes all colors of the spectrum.

Our story begins with a lack of color, a lack of light.

Building through ten generations, our players will build color upon color, eventually leading to full light.

The Legacy Challenge rules, created by Pinstar and modified by many, will be used as guidelines. However, there are additional rules for the family to follow.

1. Each generation will be assigned a color:1 - Gray2 - Black3 - Red4 - Orange5 - Yellow6 – Green7 - Blue8 - Indigo9 - Violet10 - White

Page 6: Imprismed Part 4: Generation Orange - The Lost Generation

2. Each generation will be required to add at least one room to the existing legacy house. Said room will be decorated in that generation’s assigned color. They may add more than one, but all must reflect their color scheme.

3. Generations may change the color of the exterior of the house to their color, but ONLY if they can afford to recolor the entire exterior.

Page 7: Imprismed Part 4: Generation Orange - The Lost Generation

4. Clothing and hair should match the generation’s assigned color as closely as possible. It can be subtle, or glaringly obvious.

5. Each generation will have one heir only. If natural twins occur, the first born will be heir and the spare will not be played once they leave the main house. They, in effect, will become the prodigal child, or long lost relative.

(Rule #5 got a little ignored by the early game. It won’t necessarily be followed strictly)

It all started with this handsome fellow, Roy Geebiv.

He met Uma at the local hangout, and they fell in love.

They had twins (the first violation of Rule #5), Obsidian and Ebony

Page 9: Imprismed Part 4: Generation Orange - The Lost Generation

Obsidian met Demiat college. They had Scarlett and

(the second violation of Rule

#5) Carmine.

Scarlett was the heir for Generation Red.

She set her sights on Gilbert Jacquetwhile in college and didn’t let go.

They were the first generation to adhere to Rule #5 and had Jaffa.

Page 11: Imprismed Part 4: Generation Orange - The Lost Generation

Jaffa grew up and was sent to college. Then things went horribly, horribly wrong.

The game became glitchy and had to be re-installed. Jaffa was sent through college a second time.

He met Renee there, and they were perfect together. They had

two daughters, Saffron and Citron. (Rule #5 violation

number 3, if you’re keeping track).

Then the neighborhood was lost in a BFBVFS, or a huge computer meltdown, take your pick. (I seem to have a lot of those. I blame my kids.)

But, all those years ago, I had uploaded the package files for Saffron and Citron (and the other generations) to a Box.com account. Lo and Behold!

They were still there and viable. So, I decided to start all over with Saffron. The story picks up with her…
