you hide and show the off

a tool or show it when
you’re clicking about
between various parts of
the application.

The brand new navigation
tree makes navigating
easier than ever as it show
the full name of each
question in the tool. It also
scrolls independently from
the form on the right hand
side.

Clearly see with which
account you’re logged
in at all times. Click to

settings or to log out.
Integrated
evaluation
Have you noticed
there is no separate
evaluation phase? It’s
now possible to
conduct the
identification and
evaluation of a tool all
at once as we
conveniently
combined them to
save you time.
Personalisation
With plenty of space for the logo of your
sector and the customisable colour of the
toolbar, your tool will always be
recognisable as one provided by your
sector.

Guest User: Main features
The main features of the Guest user improvement are listed below:
• The Guest User feature will give the users the possibility to have a flavor
of the tool without having to register/ identify himself, attracting more
users to do it and also they will be able to use the tool for vocational
training.
• Guest users will be able to have access to the tools (just like the
"registered" ones) but they will not be able to save the risk assessment.
• Before ending the session, guest users will be given the option to
register ("why not to register yourself so as not to lose the data?".
So, the guest user feature will be used to attract new users and this final
suggestion to convert and retain them.

Navigation

Transversal navigation: Main features
The main features of the transversal navigation improvement are listed
below:
• The current Identification and Evaluation phases will be merged into a
single new screen, so the users can be able to identify and evaluate a
risk at the same time.
• For the risks of type risk, that are the ones evaluated by the user, the
evaluation fields will be injected into the screen. For the priority and
policy risks, a message will be displayed on screen when the risk is
identified.
• In order to make the navigation more clear to the users, the information
regarding the details of the risks and the legal and policy references could
be collapsed. There would be a ‘Show more’ button to display it.

tool.

Add new risks
http://osha.europa.eu
17
Add new risks: Main features
The main features of the add new risks improvement are listed below:
• Currently if the user needs to add specific risks of his company, he/she
can do it in the reports (in the final report, adding text, and in the action
plan, adding rows in the Excel). However specific risks cannot be added
directly in the tool, so they cannot be visualized with the rest of risks
when navigating through it.
• To allow a user to add new risks in the tool, a new entry point has been
added to the menu after the standard modules of each tool, where the user
will be able to create a list of specific risks, defining their priority and
measures.
• This information will be exported automatically to the reports, in order
to present it together with that of standard risks.

OiRA - Promotion

26
OiRA Promotion / Dissemination - Key issue for
the project
• Even if we develop good quality tools they are useless if we do not
manage to reach the end-users
• Reaching them is the first challenge and make them use OiRA the second
one
• Low take up of OiRA by end-users is considered as a High Risk for the
OiRA Project (risk assessment of the OiRA Project)
• With the OIRA statistics we can monitor the use of the tools, so we know if
the tools are used or not
http://osha.europa.eu
27
OiRA promotion initiatives encouraged by EU-
OSHA
• Encourage OiRA partners to develop OiRA promotion strategies at
National / tool level
• In the framework of the EU-OSHA´s OiRA low value, contractors are
supposed to
Develop sectoral OiRA promotion strategies
Develop OiRA promotional material
• Develop new potential promotional supports / channels
Social media (LinkedIn, Twiter, Facebook, …)
• Foster the exchange of OiRA promotional material among OiRA partners
• Develop a new OiRA website (2016) intended to OiRA partners
Resources / OiRA promotion material section with products produced by
EU-OSHA or National OiRA partners
