thAlumni Meet 'Nostalgia 2013' was organized on 9 March 2013. Dr. Manmohan Singh, Director, V.R.D.E.,

Ahmednagar, was the Chief Guest. More than 300 Alumni participated in the meet with enthusiasm and

nostalgic memories. The Alumni interacted with the present batch of students and shared their experiences.

'Alumni Newsletter' was published in the meet. The 'Star Alumni' were awarded for their achievements in

professional career. The Alumni participated in variety of entertainment programmes with vigour. The

Alumni also gave valuable feedback

M Mr. Mateen Shaikh (MMS - 2000)

He is working as a Sr. Agency Development

Manager, Max Life Insurance Company Ltd.,

Ahmednagar branch. He was ranked among

'Top 50 Rankings' in Pan India for his company

out of 6500 people.

M Mr. Apoorva Gujrathi (MBA - 2006)

He is a successful 'Alumni Entrepreneur'. He is

the owner of Techno Sales (Pvt.) Ltd. The

Company is in the business of selling of Capital

Goods. The Company reached to a turnover of

Rs. 1.5 Crores this year.

M Mr. Moses Mhankale (MBA - 2007)

He was working as a Manager - HR, M/s. Rich

Graviss Products (P) Ltd., Pune. In addition, he

was also Executive Assistant to Executive

Director and CEO of the Company. Presently he

is working as India HR Manager (Head),

AESSEAL India, a subsidiary of AESSEAL, UK.

He has consistently supported the Institute in

placements and other activities.

M Mr. Firoz Master (MBA - 2009)

He is working as a Manager- HR, in a 5 Star

Hotel 'E-Square', Pune. The hospitality shown

by him as IMS-Alumni was appreciated by the

'NAAC Peer Committee', when they visited the

hotel while coming to Ahmednagar for

assessment and accreditation of the Institute.

This was pointed out by them during the Alumni

Interaction.

He is working as a Deputy Manager, Bharat

Forge Ltd., Pune. He was promoted 3 times in

two years.

He received the prestigious 'Best IT Teacher'

award by Shevgaon Trust.

M Mr. Anand Chavan (DBM - 2007)

He is a successful 'Alumni Entrepreneur'. He

is the owner of Gajaraj Dry Cleaners. He

has conducted research, imported advance

machinery and started providing international

level dry cleaning services to the customers in

Ahmednagar.

He received the 'Rising Star' and 'Best Team

Member' Award in HCL for is Consistent

performance.

Maharashtra State Commerce Association during ththe 25 Annual Conference at the hands of renowned

business-man Dr. Vitthal Kamat.

making 'GATE' - The largest Online Aptitude

Assessment, an enormous and resounding

Ekankika Spardha' held on 24 - 25 Aug, 2013.

A short play 'Makad Meva' was presented and

bagged two prizes - Best Vachik Abhinay - Mr.

Shantanu Joshi (MBA-I) and Best Light

Arrangements - Mr. Nikhil Gandhi (MBA-I).

lA National Conference on 'Buddhism &

Corporate Culture' was organized by the

Institute in association with University of Pune,th thon 26 & 27 Oct, 2013. More than 100

Delegates all over India participated in the

Conference. Two Alumni - Prof. Rajendrasingh

Pardeshi and Prof. Isha Punjabi presented

research papers in the Conference.

lTo mark the birth anniversary of the Father of

the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, a seminar for all

lady students & faculty members was organizednd

on 'Women's health' on 2 Oct, 2013. Dr. G. S.

Gupta, a renowned ENT practitioner in

Ahmednagar, spoke on women's health issues,

diet and maintenance. Followed by the seminar

a Hemoglobin count check drive was organized

by Janakalyan Raktpedhi, Ahmednagar. 138

lady students' & faculty members' blood count

was checked.

lThe Institute received permission of University

of Pune to start NSS Unit & accordingly 40

students have enrolled for this. NSS unit visited

'Pumpkin House'- Orphans school at Arangaonth Road, Ahmednagar on 12 Oct, 2013. Students

of NSS unit visited 'Adarsh Gaon - Hivre Bazar'.

Automation' was organized by the Learning

Resource Centre in association with Universityrd th

Nasik.

thDevelopment : A Need of an Hour' on 18 July 2013.

More than 3000 people attended the programme

including industrialists, principals, directors,

professors and students of various colleges and

institutions in Ahmednagar.

lAuthor Speaks - Big Boss was organized by theth

Learning Resource Centre on 19 Aug, 2013.

The Chief guests were renowned author Mr.

Anand Awadhani, Founder Unique Features

and Mr. Sanjay Joshi, Ex-CEO Idea Cellular,

under the auspices of the Information Literacy

Programme (User education). The Library's

Newsletter was released on this occasion. Book

exhibition was organized on this occasion & the

display included the motivational and

inspirational books.

lEntrepreneurship Awareness Camps were

organized by Entrepreneurship Development

Centre of the Institute in different schools like

Sabhagruha, Ahmednagar, on 5 Jan, 2014.

lMr. Vikas Shirodkar, Vice President, Human

Resource, General Motors - India, conducted a

guest lecture on 'Organization Expectations

from the Management Students' for the studentsthof the Institute on 18 Feb, 2014.

lGoogle Development Group conducted a session

on 'Entrepreneurship Development' for thethstudents of the Institute on 19 Feb, 2014.

lPlacement Cell of the Institute looks after the

placement of the students and strengthens the

bond between Institute and the Industries.

Companies like Godrej Agrovet, Sunrise Capital,

Axis Bank, Chrysallis conducted campus drives

for MBA students and students have been

placed. Chrysallis, Proquest Solutions

(Velozity), Techno Planet, Kaizen Computers,

Conserv Infotech (Pune), Persistent, Retailware

conducted campus drives for MCA students and

students have been placed. As usual IMS

The year 2010 , when I had taken up my studies for

Post Graduation here at IMS. I was curious to

explore all the new stream of studies and the

different arena in all. IMS made me feel at home

always. I never felt that, we were dwelling in a

different environment. I was at first a shy person

but, at IMS helped me to acquaint and develop my

skills to face the Professional field.

It was all fascinating to learn so much and from so

many of the people. I personally had to face so many

issues, but for every moment I found the support of

the faculty and friends. It was in IMS, that I realized,

You make a difference, in whatever role you choose.

Even doing nothing to contribute to the debate is a

choice.

When I joined IMS I just wanted to

complete my MCA degree, but as time

passed I learnt many things that I

would not get anywhere else. Every

member of IMS family has something

unique to offer. I have learnt many

things from the members of such family.

Especially as being a member of the IMS Theater

group, I have experienced some moments that would

be impossible otherwise. The Fest-Der-Tech event

has improved my personal skills. The management

day events have developed my co-curricular skills.

ED centre has inculcated an entrepreneurship

culture among me. Now I have opened my own

software development firm 'Kaizen Computer

Technology' in Ahmednagar. IMS has made me a

true professional that I am today.

I will always be in debt to this great Institute for

making me what I am.

Alumni Memories

Hello Friends,

IMS Institute is not only to educate

but also inculcate in the students the

sense of responsibility and essence of

Management to encourage students

and make the students stronger for

their future career.

Occasionally in life there are moments of

unutterable fulfillment, which cannot be completely

explained by those symbols called words. Their

meaning can only be articulated by the inaudible

language of the heart. Such is the moment, when I

would like to share my IMS experience with you all

friends.

Memories have been never more

pleasant , when it is cherished at

those times when you really forget

to live. Today as I rush each

morning to my office, there are times

I really forget or never been aware

of what I do.

My campus life had many good and memorable

moments. I still remember the proudest moment in

my life when I was announced the 'Best Student Of

The Year 2013'.

I clearly recall the fun moments I had spent with my

friends during these days - the fights, the mischief,

the disagreements, the laughter, we had together.

The important part for me, though, was being able to

get exposed to so many different areas of knowledge,

which was very educative, and which I am able to

enjoy in my working life now. Being part of the

organizing committee in college, for hosting the first

International Conference was really an amazing

experience. Another of my happiest and proudest

moment was being part of the Alumni Theatre

Group.

When I was there we had a lot of socializing, which

included both on and off-campus. Without this

education, I would not be able to enjoy my working

life, as I do now.

Entered the college, with my arms

wide spread to accept knowledge,

seeking guidance from the one above.

Here I was walking in an ocean of

challenges, too deep to make me

cringe with fear and doubt my own

self. But there were the saviors - our teachers - who

helped me swim every trench. IMS taught me to

rediscover myself. The lectures, presentations,

Now, I'm just imitating my teachers and I can see

myself in my students. I can never be as great as they

are but somehow I've managed to face the change - a

shift from 'attending' the lectures to 'conducting' the

lectures. Right from taking activities and

presentations in the class, organizing and heading

different events, to scolding the students for fiddling

with their cell phones in the class - everything comes

from the elevated IMS. I owe so much to this

institute. They say school is our second home, but

after my school I experienced the same homely-love

in IMS. I feel so lucky to be a part of the IMS family.

It's a long journey and I'm just walking my path, the

path my teachers have illuminated for me.

I am very proud of my MCA degree

and pleased that I had an opportunity

to earn this degree at IMS.

IMS has nurtured me to become a

future leader with a holistic view of

organization. It has enabled me to

handle the diverse roles of developer, recruiter and a

leader, in a Aashna group of companies with success

within a short time span of 2 years. I am very glad to

tell you that, 70% of my development team is from

IMS and all are doing very well in achieving the

organization's goals. Those 3 years of my life have

been the most memorable and gave me those

moments that will be cherished forever. IMS gave

me best of education, best of faculties, best of friends

and best of fun.

Last but not the least, I owe IMS for what I am today

and I am happy that I made the right decision to join

Two years of MBA at IMS have been

a forever memorable experience

both personally and professionally.

Values imbibed here like team

work, leadership skills, soft skills,

competitive spirit have greatly

helped me to thrive in the fast paced competitive

corporate environment and to have an edge over

others. At the same time emphasis on

extracurricular activities has helped me evolve as an

all round individual. IMS gave me the apt platform

to project my credentials and potentials. I'm

immensely grateful to my alma mater i.e. IMS to

catalyse my metamorphosis from a crude talent to a

more refined professional.

MPM has been a turning point in my

life. It has brought a lot of positive

changes in my career and life. The two

years spent in IMS were very

informative and developed me socially

to a great extent. The faculty was a

great help in case of any query and guided through

out the session very interactively and helpfully, not

just for the session but even today Shinde sir meets

me with a lot of concern and politeness.

So, summarizing my experience I would like to say

MPM has helped me deal with the world in the

changing environment.

I am a teacher in Army school and it requires great

skills to deal with a variety of personnel of varied

kind in context of ages, parents ,students and

managing them requires great skills and I feel

equipped with these skills only because of MPM and

IMSCD&R.

Hello Friends, It was a great

experience being in IMS. The

Institute gave various opportunities

to widen our knowledge through Case

Studies, Projects , Industrial visits

and so on . The faculty members were

supportive at each stage. Further the extra

Ms. Andleeb Khokar has joined as Asst. Manager -

Learning & Development in July' 13. Despite

insurance being an entirely new field for her, she has

grasped the system processes quite quickly. Within a

short span of time, she has taken charge quite

effectively there by exhibiting her leadership quality

and decision making skills. Her communication

skills give her a favorable edge over her peers. All
