Are You Willing To
Share The Lord’s Supper? The St. Mark’s Homebound Communion Ministry Team could use your help. The demand for homebound communion to our shut-ins is growing and more volunteers are needed to help meet the demand. You only need an hour or so once a month to share communion with a church member who is unable to make it to a regular service. If you are interested in being a part of this valuable ministry, or would like more information on how it works, please call or email the St. Mark’s Care Ministry Coordinator, Ann Cremar, at [email protected] or call 419-344-3166. Thank You.
Being Prepared – A Practical Approach
to Funeral Planning
June 19 from 1 pm - 2:30 pm St. Mark’s Lutheran Church
Funeral preplanning is thinking intention-ally about the details of your own funeral arrangements. By planning now, you will spare your family some of the stress that can be associated with planning a funeral. Preplanning communicates your wishes regarding visitation, funeral service prefer-ences and burial. At this event you will learn how to get started, creating official documentation that clearly outlines your directions, ideas for Bible passages and hymns for your funeral, options for burial and cremation, and more.
A panel of experts will be present to answer your questions.
Please RSVP by calling the
church office.

Joy of Discovery Beginner’s Class Would you like to learn how to read and study the Bible? Joy of Discovery in Bible Study is also called inductive Bible Study and is an organized process where the reader asks questions about a passage and then research-es the answers to those questions. It is a prayerful approach to reading, and the Holy Spirit is active in leading the learner to personal application and actualization in the last steps of the process. If you are interested, please contact Robin Small in the church office by Sunday, June 3. This will be an evening or a Sunday morning class. Six participants are needed. The day and time will be determined by the group.
