Clelian Heights Gratitude Report 2019-2020

Dear Friends of Clelian Heights,

We are pleased to present our 2019-2020 Annual Gratitude Report to you. We are so appreciative of all that you have done for us this year. More than that, we are grateful for your friendship and for the prayers, thoughts and good wishes that accompany your generous donations. We are well aware that you have choices when you have the opportunity to give, and we are so pleased that you continue to think of us when you make those choices. This has been a particularly strange and difficult year for all of us. We have followed all the protocols and have kept everyone safe; we have been able to carry on both in-person and virtual instruction in the school and have created a rich Zoom program of activities for our adults. Life at Clelian Heights has been as “normal” as we can safely make it and for this we are most grateful. And, in the midst of all that has gone on, you, our dear friends and benefactors, have continued to be in our thoughts and prayers. Hopefully all is well with you and your families.

Your gifts to us have been a reflection of your desire to be part of the mission here at Clelian Heights and your desire to assist our students and adults as they thrive in the programs we have designed for them. The growth and progress we are privileged to witness each day demonstrate the tremendous ef-forts made to master tasks that may seem easy to some but reflect so much concentrated thought and attention that many of us might not be able to sustain. We are deeply grateful that, because of your support, we are able to challenge each of our precious charges and to provide the staff, equipment and materials that are needed to foster growth and progress in each individual.

Your generosity is living proof that we are all connected, all part of each other’s story and all responsi-ble for each other. Thank you for sharing in our daily lives, for sharing in all that we accomplish here each day, for caring for those who are often overlooked or underestimated by society. Be assured of our special prayers for you and for your families.

Sincerely,

Sister Deborah Lopez, ASCJ Executive Director
