The number of French companies and French-speaking professionals in the UAE and Oman has increased significantly over the past ten years, growing at around 10% every year. Approximately 700 French companies and 350,000 French speaking expatriates are now based in the Lower Gulf. At the same time, direct investment in France has grown, and now totals approximately AED20b.

The growth in the volume of investments between the two countries and the presence of a thriving French community in the UAE and Oman suggests a pressing need for professionals with a common culture, who are familiar with local requirements.

KPMG in the Lower Gulf has launched a French Desk, featuring Francophone professionals, to respond to the needs of French companies and French-speaking decision makers in the region.

Our French Desk is connected with French-speaking professionals assigned to KPMG offices around the world through French Konnection, a network managed by KPMG in France.

We look forward to working with you and supporting your successful growth in the UAE and Oman.
