The Women'sEndowmentOur Women inPhilanthropy'sWomen'sEndowment wasformedto endow theWomen's SelfSufficiencyGrants into perpetuity. So far, 26donors are participating in along-term commitment to reducebarriers to women's self-sufficiency. The three largestgifts so far represent three greatways to give suited to the donor'scircumstances: * Helen Wertheim has committeda percentage of her estate as abequest so that as her assetsgrow, so will her gift to theWomen's Endowment. * Renee and Mark Humphreyhave given a paid life insurancepolicy so that after their lives theWomen's Endowment will

UWCNM Employee Giving Campaign a SuccessThe 2014 UWCNM Employee Giving Campaign ran in late September with the theme"iCare." The employees certainly proved how much they care as they engaged in activitiesaround the theme of self-care, generating excitement and generosity. This year ouremployees gave over $74,000, with 58% of the gifts going to UWCNM programs andfunded agencies. We're so proud of the generosity of our team!

receive $250,000. * An anonymous couple hasmade UWCNM the beneficiary oftheir IRA's and of their estate;they have designated that theWomen's Endowment receive aportion of the gifts, estimated toamount to $120,000. By directing long-term gifts,donors can fulfill their wisheswithout writing multiplechecks. There is even a way todouble your gift through amatching grant program! New MexicoAssociation ofGrantmakers AnnualConference

The New Mexico Association ofGrantmakers Annual Conferencewill be held on October 31 and isthemed ConvergingOpportunities for a Better NewMexico. September 19th was our first annual Loyal Contributor Day! Our Loyal Contributors wereinvited to join us online for a fun 'virtual' event and shared photos of themselves withProud Loyal Contributor stickers on Facebook. We also welcomed many LoyalContributors to our offices, where students of the Aveda Institute pampered them withmassages, good times were had in a photo booth, and lots of treats were available to spoilour long-term supporters. Thank you to the Aveda Institute for their continued, generoussupport of our events, and to Co-Branding Partner FRENCH Funerals - Cremations formaking this event possible. The day was a great success and we're already lookingforward to next year!
